You're generalizing an entire protest on a handful of crimes that do not reflect the vast majority of these people.
"Drug-addled rapists" Drugs are not tolerated at all OWS sites, nor is alcohol. If you are seen with either you are immediately shown your way out. "rapists" constitutes only to those who have actually committed that crime, which is less than 0.4% population of the entire population OWS protesters.
The events that occurred at Oakland were performed by rogue members in that crowd that took advantage of the vast numbers that came out in that march. The graffiti and vandalism was actually cleaned up after by OWS members, because they are peaceful.

"Drug-addled rapists" Drugs are not tolerated at all OWS sites, nor is alcohol. If you are seen with either you are immediately shown your way out. "rapists" constitutes only to those who have actually committed that crime, which is less than 0.4% population of the entire population OWS protesters.

@Wesley53719 Why is it so hard for you people to understand? You need permits to asemble and protest, no permit equals breaking the law. At that point, law enforcement is brought in to handle the situation. Instead of leaving peacefully and going through other means to get your message out (the message is till unclear) you people won't budge. That's when law enforcement is forced to remove the assembly by any means that are nessecary.

It's not law enforcements fault that you sit down with interlocked arms chanting or start throwing rocks destroying personal property. At that point if you get pepper sprayed its you own fault. No ands, ifs or buts about it. The cops have a job to do, which most of you wouldn't understand. Blame the city governments for not giving you a permit, not law enforcement. I'm all about free speech and every other given right as an American, but you have to do it within the boundries of law.
