I just want to say, whether these soldiers really feel this way or not, we do have to fight for our freedom, granted like someone down there said, we get our freedom from the constitution, but that is as long as we do not have to fear for our lives from some sort of outside source. There are children in our country, in Communist China, and several other countries that work in factories for slave labor income. The children in Communist China get $1.30 an hour and Americans don't give it a thought that they are supporting the children slaves. The Nazi's are active in Germany right now.

@iprazhm: I don't vote Democrat or Republican. The election process is corrupt in our country. I happen to be an Independent. Ron Paul and Ralph Nader were our last hope for freedom in our country. Obama is not a natural born citizen of the US. It is a fact that his birth certificate was altered and that there have been two law suits filed against him. A judge would not allow the suits to go forward. All of this non-secretive information is on the Internet. Wake up! ! !

Don't know what on earth you are rambling about. I often surf the web concerning our soldiers, on the war front and here at home. Haven't heard of any being homeless. America has more government programs to help the 'down-trodden' than any country on earth. Who are the disenfranchised you talk about, I don't know of any? the world is a better place because of much of America's involvement. I don't know what the chip on your shoulder is but if you don't like it, no one is forcing you to stay.

@kacpt: US troops have no business being all over the world. That is why the USD is always at war or at odds with other countries. Would you like to have foreign troops stationed here in the US? The US made the atomic bomb in the 1940s, used it to kill thousands of innocent civilians and we have a stockpile of them today. Why do we criticize other countries for wanting or having nuclear weapons? We can, but they can't. Is that the idea? Many countries hate the US. I wonder why.

We have thousands of Americans that have lost their homes because of unbridled capitalism. Instead of helping the American people, the first thing that was done was to bailout the biggest bank that there is, Bear Sterns. The Federal Reserve that is no part of the US government, bailed out Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac to stave off an economic meltdown.

@jdavis:Bush has already made some deals with oil companies. Iraqis oil wells will be privatized. Bush intends to privatize everything in Iraq without consulting Congress. That in itself is grounds for impeachment.
