If only the REAL halo people (not cracked) can make servers, and you're saying the cracked version of halo has other servers, than HOW can i see servers on my cracked version on halo? how did they made a server which you can see on your cracked version?(this maybe is a stupid question just wanna know :$) :S

@bradandrews4 cracks are not the full game. they dont have the same servers etc. so even if you use your own CD key, it still wont work. besides, on a crack, they use legit CD keys anyway.

Can you disable CD key checking if your just running the server on LAN?

So If I had 3 copys of Halo with the same CD key, and want to set up a LAN game with a dedicated server, Is there a way to play on that server with all 3 computers?

I have tryed this, as soon as 2 computers with the same key connect at once, or one of them try to connect after the first one does, it says " Cd key invalid" or somthing along those lines. This would help a TON as I have a LAN party comming up.

well i copied the strings.dll off the halo ce ds because it comes with the halo ce when u download halo ce.... so i think that might be the reason why it doesnt appear on halo but there is NO strings.dll on the website............... :( :(

hey i got a file with every thing i needed from the Microsoft website and all you do is go into the init.txt file change it to the map you want and then the type of game you want then CUT and paste all the files in your halo PC folder then double click the haloded file and away it goes but i have also checked my filters and i also cannot find my server, help????

The servers with snipers no shields for example are useing a dedicated server hosted by most likley gameservers(.)com there is no way to add custom gametypes useing this method

P.S. game servers (.)com or w/e is NOT free you have to pay monthly
