I love beretta, M9 and 92, 96fs are IMO, the sexiest looking handguns ever made. I think its because of the open barrel design which looks good but has its issues, but man the PX line just looks like shit to me. They tried to go for some futuristic sleek look to it, but fell way short. Their not bad guns because i have shot one a few weeks ago, but a real man wants a good looking woman, not one that just performs well when its time to get down and dirty.

The Neos are known to eat any kind of .22 LR ammo. That is a huge plus versus some .22 LR's (ie. Sig Mosquitos). The steep grip angle is what most European countries go with for target shooting (ie. Hammerli, Walter Sport guns, etc...) heck many people complained about the Glock's "steep" grip angle once. I love the charging handle on that new AR Beretta's got!

- Steel is better than composite and Glock can't take any more punishment than Beretta. Military are not stupid people, they test all conditions before swith from 1911 USA made to Beretta origin Italy, of course they buy license to legally make Beretta Made in USA.

@buttpirate57 yes, there are lots of little peices if you completely strip the weapon, but you would only do that at home, where you cant lose stuff, in the field it only strips to 3 peices, about the same as most AR's and (i may be wrong about this) i think the AK's field strip to 4-5 pieces

Hey nutn, would you mind working some skills on those baretta guys and convincing them to make the ARX160 for civilians so it can be more readily available for contractors and myself. I've only seen Italians with these and they love them. One grunt told me he had'nt cleaned it since he brought it over here, and hes put some serious round counts down the two way range.

Dude awesome!!! You've got to keep us up to date on a possible availability date. Finally a quick change gun barrel that's actually quick to change. Own an FN SCAR and it's definitely not a quick change barrel, and definitely not something I would want to change while on a mission.

When we're out on a mission, we need a readily adaptable weapon. One that's small enough to be used in a CQC environment, light enough to be carried for miles without wearing down the operator, effecient enough to not jam at all, and still have the accuracy and knock down power to take someone out at 800m. The only weapon that's gotten me pumped or that I could see as a replacement anytime soon is the M416 (more accurately, the M416 drop in upper for the M4/M16). Looks cool, but needs refining.

-For us infantry guys, swappable barrels is not only more shit to keep track of, but more weight. On top of that, while being a nice feature, it would likely never be used other than armorer's swapping barrels to make it into an SDM

-Requiring you to get a different barrel to use a surpressor and such is a horrible scam. I can forsee the military buying it just for that reason (extra money) but stuff like that shouldn't have to be swapped.

Issues I see with the ARX160:

-When the stock's folded, there's no flat back to stop dust/debris from getting into that space, which could interefere with weapon usage

-What happens if it jams halfway? Now you're in a combat zone, and after fixing that jam and need to reload when some guys pointing a rifle at you, you find that the cocking lever's on the other side. SOL

-Seems to be too bulky like the SCAR. M4 is awesome because of it's sleek and small design
