  • It's fungus. And the meds to treat it within your blood stream or too harsh on the liver, that they won't give them to you. Don't waste your money on creams and steriods, use over the counter hydrocortisone, and take short showers, dry off good, and it will go away. Don't eat foods high in acids, lemons, tomatoes, sugar, ect. No milk, or very little.

  • please help i have ps for 9year could be more please help me i am kinda scared

  • @princess82944 Hello, you have had pityriasis for 9yrs? Are you sure it is pityriasis? Have you seen a dermatologist?

  • @mtamorphis no my doc wont ref me to one so i am looking for a new doc and yes i am sure i have a ph inbalance maybe that has some thing to do with y i have had it so long

  • The only place that went unharmed was my face. I think that was due to putting moisturizer on it, but I empathize with you and will be praying for your quickest recovery!

  • When you showed your skin, it brought back horrible memories from high school and prom. I had that disgusting looking stuff all over me. Mine started in the lower part of my back and continued to spread. It's not contagious to anyone else, but it is from your skin to other parts of your body. I was amazed that they called it PR, but relieved when you said that the other Dr. didn't know what it was. That was the diagnosis for me-THEY DID NOT KNOW WHAT IT WAS. It cleared up after 6.5 months.

  • OUCH!!!

OK, Im new to your vids.. I don't understand your hair thingy you are talking about on some of your vids!!!!, it looks normal on the camera!!! short..but fine!?

  • what was the cream called is there an genaric brand i can by over the counter

  • I am not sure if you can get it over the counter? It is a cream that consist of two products and it was mixed together at the pharmacy. It is called...

    Triamcinolone 1% cream/Aquaphor Ointment Fougera

After mixing them together you get a white paste that is really thick and initially sticky when applied. Although, I must say the Dermatologist knew what he was talking about because the rash is almost gone and no more itching!

    Good Luck!

  • You're a mystery wrapped in an enigma shrouded in a tub of who-knows-what-cream.

    8-)

  • LOL!! You got that right!

  • Get the cream and start using it...both of my kids have allergies that affect their skin...I cream them every night and it works!!

  • Yes, picked it up today...wow is this stuff thick. It has the feeling of Vaseline.

  • Get with it. No body uses road maps any more. You need a gps. ;-)

    I'm glad it's getting better.

  • LOL @ gps!

  • I can see you. You look fine.

    No, no one likes needles.

I'm glad it's going away. I hope it stays away.

  • Me too!

  • Hopefully this will be the end of it!!

  • Yes, let's hope this is the end! ;)

  • Yeah, the two shots I got? STILL SORE ONE WEEK LATER. Contact dermatitis is something you get from...contact with something. Could be a change in soaps or detergents. I'm glad that the shot helped. Now get going with that tub o cream! ;)

  • You know my sister was saying the same thing...but I have not changes soaps or detergents. The only thing I can think of is our move here. Is there something in this apt that is causing this rash? I have been thinking about that all day.

  • Wow, I wonder. Have you been rubbing against the walls lately? ;) I wonder if you can all of a sudden get allergic to something you've used for ages because I am wondering if that is what is happening to Nohea and me. It's just so weird that we have never had allergies, and all of a sudden, we are sneezing and stuff.

  • It is weird...I am going to send ya a PM.

  • M add us to your active sharing please. Thanks Babe! :o)

  • Sending you an invite.

  • I was wondering what that tool bar was for! And thank you for the invite darling face. :)

You are a mystery wrapped in an enigma.

  • Your welcome...you got that right total mystery! LOL!!

  • My guess is, and remember this is a guess, the shot he gave you is like the Mr. Clean of allergy shots. It will take off anything stuck to ya. The cream is something he gave you to take your mind off of needing to take an active part in healing yourself. But you will end up with silky smooth hide as a bonus, so its good despite everything.

  • LoL! You're a mess! "walking around looking like a road map!" Hope the shot works....as big as you say it was, IT BETTER!

  • Great that its clearing up, and good to see you keep your humor while dealing with it.

"What are you going to do with that?" I was LMBO.

  • If I don't laugh about it Ran I will go crazy! LOL!!
