@SuperBrianMario Basically E1880 is saying that the bells chimed in the Emergency Warning were played following emperor Hirohito's death. And that it would therefore be suited as an emergency chime. I think he appeals to the «spiritual» and poetic side of the emergency bell.
We really need a system like EEW here on the west coast of North America.
