yes u dont put weight on your sliding foot but if u leave a gap between carpet and foot even a mm it ruins the illusion

nicely done tutorial... one thing stood out to me... Heel is flat, and so slides. pivot on the toe. :) A moonwalk is not a backslide, and once again, you have mixed up a couple things. The flat foot slides as the other heel GOES DOWN, not lifts. The heel going down is the 'force' that pushes the other flat foot out.
