progressive music is crap, what does it progess to exactly, ya get the build up as if something good is going happen then nothing does, bring back old skool 87-92 now that was music.
you think digweed is good you wanna look up a dj producer called pole folder on digweeds label bedrock !! digweed actually calls folder the master !! check him out
That was one of the best years to see them. I was to young then, but listening back to there sets and GU's for 1998-2002 was the best. I didn't realize how good a producer Digweed was until I listened to his Bedrock stuff. Also, I think Sasha's new eMfire stuff is incredible. Coma, Park it in the Shade and Mangoose are top level stuff. I think the Henry Saiz Remix of Gridlock is fantastic too. But there track selection in there Sets has gone out the window.
Unlike other DJs, Sasha and Digweed only play quality house music and not repeatative trance crap. You don't have to be stoned or high to appreciate what they play. Rather then liking the music or songs, try and understand their selection and how they blend the songs together is what I'm always fascinated about these two guys.
k well, true that they are good. but you can't call trance repetitive when in reality house is way more repetetive and really needs more experience and understanding of electronica to appreaciate. amateurs usually dont start out liking sasha and digweed. true fans of trance/house admire their work more often than people brand new to the scene. sasha and digweed used to be trance, they evolved of course. keep that in mind.
they've fallen by the way side unfortunatly. this is nice music if you're stoned. not when you want to party and enjoy yourself. huge difference. ill always love sasha but they (he) needs to go back to their roots. thats what people want. not techy somewhat ambient trance, bring back the 90s I say this is why I stop checking for dance these days. Its way too SHIT..
Partially i have to agree with you, they've changed their style in mixing and creating music, and they don't do music like they used to, but there is one who still keeps the flag up and this is Nick Warren, still doing it the " right " way, but the essence is still there in both of them, even if involver2 isn't the way i expected it to be.

... the conclusion is only one, they are adapting to what the crowd wants.
pahar200 2 years ago 3
