Please review the end of MGS3, wherein President Johnson says to Naked Snake, "You are above even the Boss; I hereby award you the title of Big Boss." This confirms in MGS3, not MGS4, that you were playing as Big Boss throughout the game.

I'm not sure why everyone is being so hostile to you about this error, but you should consider excising this error from an otherwise excellent documentary.

i think there is a mistake, Metal Gear Solid is not a remake of Metal Gear 2, is another sequel. This is obvious because the villain in Metal Gear Solid is Liquid Snake, not Big Boss.

Final fantasy started out with nintendo along with metal gear and other things such as harvest moon and other stuff I haven't hurd about yet. No one can steal a copyrighted name other wise sony will be sued :P it's just that konami switch over to playstation and sense Kojima was working with them why not make a 3d metal gear and get alot of money

well they did remake the first metal gear solid on gamecube but I guess they wanted to keep the franchise on ps2 /ps3 so people will have to buy the ps3 which makes sony rich :p but they may make MGS on the wii in the future but I can only imagine how badly the controls will be ._. and i'm a ps3 owner :p just bough mgs4 not to far on it though
