I love Vajrayogini. Even high lamas such as Tsem Rinpoche highly respects her and calls her the "King of all Yidams. No other Yidams more Supreme than you for our time and age".

Beautiful dance, but WHY do camera persons feel the need to continually move around, shifting focus so that one cannot see the actual body and face of the dancer? like they are trying to call attn. to themselves (the camera persons)
Vajrayogini is the consort of Chakrasamvara aka Heruka. Heruka means blood drinker in Tibetan. this dance is the dance of the enlightened EVERYTHING on her body to the moves she makes has meaning. her hair is down to show she has no restraint, her body is red to show control when she moves her hand to her mouth shes drinking blood from a skull cup. why she does this is to bite with her fangs to destroy ego and for true Buddha to be left, Pure emptiness

These dances were supposed to be secreted and not shown publicly like this. What everybody needs to know is that those personals who invented these dances were not any dance directors or choreographers but they were highly powerful Maha-Pandits (Vajara-Charya gurus). And I believe commercializing these dances is not a good honor to them.
This recording is done during the festival "musica sacra international" in marktoberdorf, germany. The idea is anything else than to commercialize this sacred dances! More to bring peace and understanding between the confessions all over the world when these musicians do their authentic prayers together with christian musicians in a sacred place like a bavarian baroque church.
This is one of the most beautiful Nepali dance performed, that I have seen. I don't know wht it means but so intriguing. It is so graceful and done with such a sweet smile. Absolutely beautiful and great dancer.
I do see the big picture and that is exactly my point,if they have spiritual materialistic attachments more than their students, that is a problem. And as far as the rest goes you are preaching "semantics".
I love this dance. It's inspiring to so many people including myself. Thankx so much for sharing this bhuddhist ritual from nepal. It's so unique . Wow!!
the dance is graceful!! I think vajrayogini/vajrabarahi is a hindu goddess coz we sacrifice animals to this goddess in vajrabarahi temple... Nepal is mixed of both hindus and buddhists, kind of unique!!
Display of refined technique and a long tradition of form in the continuation of this ancient dance from Nepal. Meditation and embodiment of qualities, may we be witness to a display of pleasing virtues. Not casting aspersion on others, may we recogize beauty and form as a magical display before us for amusement and joy, thus offering the inner buddha nature in the moment of recognition, make this offering of fluid feminie energy with grace in the sky, the earth and all directions.
The beautiful Dakini as Vajrayogini is an excellent representation. Regardless of what judgments so called Buddhist have about certain Lama's, this video is unlike any that I have ever seen in technique, beauty, and style. Congratulations!
its great that other mediums are found to express the Buddhas teachings, especially popular ones among the youth. But Singa Rinpoche (so called Rinpoche) is obviously doing this for the cash, if he were a true monk he would be acting like so many other Buddhist monks releasing CD's, giving his money to good causes or supporting monastery's, not driving fancy cars and wearing designer labels.
Sees to be a recurring problem with spiritual materialism,I renunciated a Lama for other ethical reasons.Sogyal also seems pretty attached to his little head as well.Trungpa as well.I will always remain Buddhist for the attainment of my awakening not to get sucked into fraudulant paths these men are creating.True masters are supposed to liberate illusions of attachment, not have more than the students.
the problem is not with what they have: it's whether or not they have attachment. You have to see the bigger picture: why are they like that? obviously to attract people who wear designer labels and drive expensive cars.
Buddhism is not all about looking holy and spartan: it's about how you change inside
