u might have tightend ur wheel to much or it that darkstar are cheap peices of monkey flinging shit because with that emblem in side it takes the strength away from the rubber inside go spitfire lol im just saying that cause their the shit and the sponsored me XD
AWWWWWWWWWW ITS CLICKING!!!!! GRABS GUN PUT IN MOUTH *BAM* MOTHER:TOMMY TOMMY YOUR GONNA BE LAT.... TOMMY NOO YOUR NEW BOARD I SPENT 60$ ON THAT DAMNIT TOMMY
THUMBS UP IF YOU THINK DARKSTAR IS THE BEST BRAND IN SKATING EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
take some coarse sandpaper and stick it in the hole and twist(it will take a while) it will make the hole bigger and stop it from clicking the bearing will still fit in the circle tho, hope this helps you.
@nataliaisuglyandfea its really fucking eritating dude.. you arent that fortunate and probably cant afford new wheels.. he's asking for help jeez.. no need for your critisizm,,
@nataliaisuglyandfea wow man ur so tuff u skate wheels as thin as the bearings and u aint complainin. just buy new wheels nobody asked about ur stupid ass wheels. meanwhile some kids cant even afford to buy a skateboard and ur here braggin about ur gayass wheels. bottom line is buy spitfire streetburners or betterskateboarding wheels without those bullshit cores
dude ill tell u this one thing my wheels are like off brand but they r professional and i havent had one problem with them and they r red and they r 53 mm and theyr cheap like only 25 bucks but wat im trying to say is buy new wheels and they dont have to be like hugest name on the block
i have lightning cores, they have the knight in the middle but that has never happened to me. i suppose u could try and file the logo down to stop the noise but, you should probably get new wheels. maybe ask the people at a good skateshop or email darkstar
Man, I don't know what to tell you. I used a pair of light knights for a year (and might I add that they are great wheels) and I have never had a problem with them. One guy said tightening them to much could be it, which sounds reasonable, But another gay said baking them might melt them back together; it seems easy to melt the wrong places. I hope you find something that works.
you obviously do not shred hard. rictas are horrible wheels.
they flat spot really easy and wear out really fast.
oh and there ricta "cruiser" wheels melt if you go any faster then 25mph..... i skate and downhill longboard and go 50mph+, wheels should not melt going 25
rictas flat spotted for me in a month, hubbas in a week, and spitfire in like 2weeks, bones is all i ride now cuz i havent had a flatspot in like a year
i had a simular problem with my rictas except my bearisngs were loose fitting in the wheel so i heated them at 440 f for ten minutes and then dropped them in ice water problem solved. in your case i would do hte same but maybe 12 minutes and you have to watch them because they 'll melt at 454f . ihad the hybrid wheels and they were awesome untilall the blunt slides unearthed a huge bubble in the wheel(defect) never liked a set of wheels so much
heat a nail up with fire and wait till its red hot. when its red hot, like put it on the spot where u want to take out and it will just melt off dumbshit
my lightknight the wheel around the core get twisted a few times .. like trying tre flips or stuff and the wheel twists off the core .. im thinking of getting some rictas soon
It looks more like there was a bearing failure, not a wheel failure. Using bearing spacers can prevent that particular damage, because that (and speed washers) actually clamps the hub assembly and prevents the bearing from impacting the core of the wheel. That's the ONLY physical possibility for what would have grabbed the inside of the wheel.
Spacers and speed washers are cheap and easy, like a good date.
Lots of systems don't work properly when you don't assemble them correctly. ;-)
Darkstar is wack, i got flatspot after a couple of weeks. Bones is good but not my favorite. Theres no need to talk shit about spitfire, you should be sad that you are a noob.
flatspots happen on the wheel, not in the bearing, so if u hear a clicking when ur riding ur board, or its bumpy when ur riding, check all 4 wheels and see if there is a flatspot on them.
plan b get spitfire

as long as the bearings still fit in then you'll be ok
