What are the graveyard fields? Are they places where people are buried or is that a metaphorical name? I've lived in NC since birth and never heard of them until now.
Yep Droth127 I remember going up there in the late 70s early 80s before the ramps and trails with my aunt. It was like a ghost town. Know take a number to get in.

I can't wait to visit here again. My girlfriend and I visited Asheville with her family and went here, Sliding Rock, and across Blueridge Parkway.
Such a memorable place I'll never forget.
