I'm a huge Pixies fan. That said, I think it's fine to sample or even vs off of one another. BUT when you take something great i.e. the Pixies music, and you put No effort into "your music / lyrics" and then try to cover it up with a steamy video and some sharp dance moves like no one's going to notice the music part of the video you do a disservice to the Fans, the Pixies and your credibility as a performer. AND when you do it with Pixies music it's Really Disturbing.
