Why do we have to deify? Hammett has deserved merit, as do John, Buckethead, Wylde, Dimebag. I was super hard for me at first because I didn't know how to do it, so I would do the sweep and when I tapped I thought I had to slide from low to high notes. But I tried to go from low to high notes and I got it now. The only problem is is that when I do it I hit ghost notes terribly. Any tips on how to stop that?

Daron is mostly a rhythm player, Kirks solos (although awesome) sound pretty much the same and theyre kinda sloppy live. Steve and Stevie both kick ass and I find Jimmy to be somewhat overrated (hes still incredible though). Im not saying John5 is the best ever, but in my opinion, hes up there. He plays more styles then the guys you mentioned combined, hes humble and hes always putting something new on the table. Hes better, and one of the best guitar players in history
