we have access to so much more information about the world. We might have used the term "world" before but never did we have such a personal idea of what it actually is. So i get that much and that people think they are some what responsible and can help fix the pollution etc i know in the catholic church despite divinity there is a oneness in that church is universal and open to all, and all are from one God.

oneness to know all things in the univers are one. by knowing this. we must see that all things are connected and can influence the whole. if we hurt apart of the whole we hurt ourselves. if we heal ourselves by comuning with oneness. we heal the univers. god is everlasting and threw hes oneness we experince the wourld. so our goodwill can cleanse the universe. stay true to ourself do whats right and this will change the univers as we know it. love is the key
