Donkey Kong Jungle Beat Wii/Gamecube differences [Wii Version]

I know there have been changes like Health Points, a different medal system, changes within the levels...

but what about the graphics?

Are they any different?

@TehGrax to me the bongos were one of my favorite parts of the game. it gave it more challenge which, i mean... is why you said you like the wii version. and i like being able feel myself hitting something instead of just shaking the wiimote and nun-chuck. I'm probably just being a little baby over my opinions but either way its a great game on both consoles. just wish they added more to the wii version and maybe gave you the option to use the bongos...

guys this game is better there are new stages, new bosses and in the old game it was so hard for you to die so they made it a bit more easer all this game is for is making it a bit more challenging and i am sure you can play the bongos

You can't have DK: Jungle Beat without the DK Bongos. I'm sure this version is fine, but the original release was downright awesome, not to mention very innovative and creative. I honestly think just using the Wii controller as opposed to pounding on bongos takes the fun out of the whole game, but that's just me.

sonikku is right, and that`s the whole point. the least amount of copies sold, the rarer it is to get, and generally the more expensive it is. bringing back gamecube games allows nintendo to resell a good product that initially flopped without new material. genius in my opinion

My daughter loves to play this on Gamecube with the bongos even my three year old son loves to hit the bongos, and clap. I'am not to thrilled with the Wii, and glad I stuck with Gamecube. My eight year old daughter tried out a Wii at the store, and she found the controller very hard to use, and she did not like it. This system is probably geared for more of my age but I was not impressed with it either. I'd rather just stick with the old system this game looks somewhat the same anyway.

I'm getting this for sure once it hits shelves here in Sweden. The New Play Controls perhaps lack the originality the GC-version had but it's still a great game (probably).

I'm probably the first one to say this, but I love the sound-effects in this game!

I just bought this for the Wii since I never got the chance to play the Gamecube version and it KICK'S ASS. 4 years and this game still looks FREAKIN' GREAT. I'm not even kidding when I say it looks better than most Wii games and that is truly a sad statement in and of itself. Just goes to show how LAZY developers are when doing stuff for the Wii. Either way this is a flatout FANTASTIC platformer and if anyone has yet to play it definately give this a shot since its a sweet $29.99. GREAT GAME.

For anyone who doesn't know, this game was made by the Super Mario Galaxy team, and honestly, this game has some damn good graphics for being 4 years old, especially since it looks better than most Wii games( though the Wii does have some beautiful games so I'm not trying to make the Wii look bad). I never played the original on Gamecube so I will definitely pick this game up.

I'm definitely getting this. I tried the Gamecube version with the controller, and it sucks. This game has been adapted for the Wii remote and nunchuck, so it should be much more fun (and without new accessories to buy and adjust to).
