As nice as this looks, sadly you can see that times are-a-changin'. Whitney doesn't seem to sound quite as fun and innocent as she did in earlier albums, plus you can hear some early signs of drug use here. That's why MLYIL is good, but not great. The only reason it sold 4 million is that fans simply bought it to build her moment off of her movie soundtracks, even though WTE and TPW were "too black" for some buyers. But things would turn much worse in just over a year in Hawaii and at the Oscars
