Okay, I recently was at Niagara Falls. I was at the very spot where this scene was filmed. And you know what's funny? In the movie, the boy is forever falling, giving Clark enough time to change into Superman and fly out to grab him....with plenty of room below still before the boy hits water. HA! In reality, when one looks over the edge, it would take about 3 seconds before you hit water!

When I saw the falls, I thought to myself, "its a lot bigger in Superman II!"
