your lucky, I was up at houghton lake, I guess it was around 97 I guess and hooked up with some guys that where staying at the cabins w/ us and we took a ride around like 11 at night and we where moving around the same speed and the guy where were with hit a pressure crack and broke leg collar bone and a couple of ribs and of all days I guess it was his birthday.. glad you where ok....
oh my gosh, I know I already left a comment but last night something similar happened to me, but I was on my quad :S Came out with a sprainged arm and no damage to me quad (how, I would love to know!) so I got EXTREMELY lucky! Now I can relate to how scary that is and how fast and painful it is too! I'm so sore :S lol
i did that goin 70 a couple years ago but it was a presure ridge at 9 pm and i went flyin and hit the ice to hard i broke my helmet open, and broke my wrist.
Nope, didnt break anything got very lucky I think. I was sore for a few months after though. I do wear a back/chest protector and have padding on my coat and pants so Im pretty sure that help me out.
You are not supposed to let go. Hold on the the handle bars. That's what the manufacturer's put them there for. Consult your owner's manual. All riders should take a Ski-Do certified riding class before operation.

Holly shit, are you alright man??????
I had a doosie crash early on this year too and like you I took all the impact and the sled made it out without a scratch.
Thats OK though because I healed for free and the sled would have cost money to fix.
Take er easy out there and ride safe....
