Your lucky you broke your wrist I severly sprained mine and tore the ligament, and it took 3 months for it to heal up completely and will never be 100% again.

I broke my wrist last Friday (snowboarding). I was wondering- were you ever worried that you were going to displace it in the cast after it was set? I'm freaking TERRIFIED that that could happen and then I'd have to get surgery. :/

@beachbabe1398 Honestly yeah I did worry a little. Especially at first. It was my first break. I was scared that just a tiny movement would move the bone around. So I wore a sling for a few days. After that I was just really careful. You'll be able to tell when it starts to heal. I think two weeks after having my cast I was able to move my arm more, it wasn't sore, and I could basically do anything. I used that arm to text and lift small things. If it's still sore a few weeks in, tell somebody.

@sairuhhxD Thanks for the awesome advice! I read it a while ago, but never got around to replying. Lol. But anyways, I'm in a brace now and I can take it off for good on February 24th and I won't need to do any physical therapy. It was good to know that I wasn't the only person who completely freaked out, and I could tell when it was starting to heal which was REALLY weird! Haha, but again, thank you. (:

I broke my ankle in 3 spots and was never taken to the doctor, now i hve a lot of issuess..... :/ but that first video... God i bet i would have like passed out or something

ive had tendonitis since january. i had 3 different braces and now i have a cast.. i get it off in 3 days..IM SO EXCITED. but that threw the rest of chearleading season out and all of volleyball season out the window.

i believe it was a scaphiod fracture, with is a bone in your thumb/wrist area. these fractures are commonly mis-diagnosed as wrist fractures and usually dont appear on x-rays until sometime later. example: i was skateboarding and fell off a half-pipe. the orthopedic doc diagnosed me with a compound fracture, 2 months later, they find that i broke my scaphiod, and then another month in a cast.

i would have been crying through out the whole thing!! You must have a super tolerance for pain!! you go girl!! haha :) When i was little I broke both of my arms at different times but I can't remeber what happened... haha

yeah good job i watched all the videos to and you were brave, i broke my hand 4 times on the right and 2 times on the left, broke my shoulder and broke my ankle and all those times i did brake all these bones i cryed... and know i'm dealing with a hernia for the 2nd time..:)
