what a lot of sinister weird looking crummy puppets they show to kids on sesame street. the puppets like the shirts on Star Trek were probabbly rarely if ever cleaned
What do you mean? These were the best puppets there were, and when they got better it is because the company was improving them, but they were pioneering the whole process. Remember a lot of materials that we have today, were new or just coming out then. Also, they were meticulously taken care of and rebuilt. This was not just some crummy show. It was the juxtaposition of a lot of people's hopes and dreams to make something that would make, not just America, but the world a better place.

rabbitdance,
are you crazy??!!! childrens's tv programming sucks the sleazy hacks like jim henson could easily pull the wool over their eyes with those crummy miserable poor quality felt. sesame street is probably in real life some sleazy dangerous boarded up drug and gang ridden ghetto
I think maybe you got some bad information somewhere a long the line. I have lots of books on the history of Jim Henson and Sesame Street. If you would like I could mail one to you. really, I think if you watch something like, Muppet Christmas Carol, you could see how much love and care there is in these fictional worlds that Jim Henson & company created.
If you want so see something funny and more adult, look up the Wilkins Coffee commercials. Honestly, I've met Mr. Jim Henson's son, Brian and I can tell you that they really are good people. I encourage you to check put some more of the videos, you might really like them and see in them what I see. Or they may not be your cup of tea, and that's ok, everyone is different and has their own tastes.
you're just a sinister weird looking crummy miserable person who probably shouldn't be around children as to avoid sucking the joy from their hearts, cheer up buzz killington
I know there is another version of this which Ernie in the end had a man drawn sitting on the bed and Bert said he's gonna go to sleep, while Ernie replied Bert you're wrong! He just woke up!
My guess is no. That last one isn't a cow eating grass. It's tonight's episode of Monday Night Raw; Hasn't started yet because it's only 7pm as I type this!! :)
@noahf67 ...Not only does it outrank EVERYTHING on all the kid networks today, it also happens to be funnier and more well-delivered than most of what passes as comedy in this day and age, by ANY age group, for any age group!! Jim Henson and Frank Oz have done SO MANY great characters, but if all they were known for were Ernie and Bert, they would rightfully be immortalized. The director of the show, Jon Stone, insisted on directing all of the E&B skits for free. We all can see why.
Yes, that last picture was a tough one. My guess would have been that it was a picture of 3 polar bears, and after a long hard day of playing in the snow they closed their eyes, went to sleep and became completely camouflaged. Silly me!
How is it that I can barely remember what I had for lunch today, but thirty-five years after the fact I am saying in unison with B&E "Why should she stay around? Sure!!" :)
And just as I've utilized Ernie's "TenQ" in real life, I've also enjoyed over the years showing someone a blank piece of paper and saying it's a cow eating grass.
Very funny skit, but that was insane! How could there possibly be a cow who finished eating grass when that page is absolutely blank?! The page has nothing on it! It just doesn't make sense!
Absolutely BLANK!!!!

Vatch1966 2 years ago
This is easy:
Picture #1: a bird has flown out of the birdcage.
Picture #2: a man has slipped on a banana peel.
Picture #3: completely blank, because the cow has eaten grass, and that's gone; and after the cow ate, she left. Why should she stay around!
Just simply classic!
