  • i miss the old days donkey kong country 3 is still the shit no metter what so does donkey kong 64 that kick ass as well

  • la cago el tema. increíble.

  • This music actually makes me think not of clear nice water levels, but like a hunting game with you in a diving suit at the bottom of the ocean, its all foggy and green down there and youre hunting for a shark or something. Like maybe this could be used in a Jaws remake.

  • @Nyarth128255 Wouldn't work. This song is only bad ass enough for DKC3, a bad ass game.

  • @rootbeer543 True 'nuff.

  • @Nyarth128255 I agree with the dark waters part. I think this song did that on purpose. Its saying you're in a strange place far from home. Not the familiar waters of DK Isle. Plus, it radiates the whole "dangerous nature" theme of the game.

  • @rootbeer543 Yeah, but I think it just doesn't fit well with the bright, colorful water in the game. They could have made dark green water levels with dangerous enemies and something like a boss at the end called Krabby's Koral, would have been cool in my opinion. Ive made up a few names for DK bosses on my own just for fun.

  • @Nyarth128255 I thought it fit, but we all have our opinions. I have some ideas for DKC too. Like if they brought back K. Rool, he could be an archeologist this time or something, and you could fight him in an ancient temple or something. I don't know just a thought.

  • @rootbeer543 XD That'd be completely unexpected but cool.

  • @Nyarth128255 Yeah. Also, did you notice that the first K. Rool should have been fought in the area you fight him in the 3rd game, the 2nd K. Rool should have been fought in the are you fight him in the 1st game, and the 3rd K. Rool should have been fought in the are you fight him in the 3rd game?

  • Okay...so now I've listened well to this music. I thought I liked GBA version better, but now I think I like both the same! Sometimes it overlaps a little and for a short time I'll like one better than the other, but usually theyre equal with each other.

  • Huh? I kind of find it strange that I actually think this and the GBA version were actually both really awesome songs. GBA version= A nice peacful song Snes version= A dramatic intense song

They both are great if you listen to both of them.

  • revisa mi version 2012 en MY CHANNEL ;)

  • At 00:30, sounds like a movie I watched when I was a kid. Probably Charlotte's Web.

  • Damn this music and level damaged me (I am dead serious)

  • It complements aquatic ambience, E. Fisher you did well. I'm looking forward to the Overclocked Remixes.

  • The only thing I hated about these levels were that they were too short!

  • This would fit with the hunted forest world in DKC 2.

  • this theme yells UNKNOWN

  • Only good song in dkc3, all of them are in dkc2..... And a couple in dkc1......

  • Sounds like one of secret of evermore track... awesome tune

  • This is the Official theme of depression...

  • I never played DKC3 suprisingly growing up but I was fortunate to play it when it was released on the GBA and I didn't relize the music was changed in that game!

  • @ChickenConPolloHD if you listen closely, DKC3 GBA's underwater music is a remix of DKC1's underwater theme.

  • This was the only one from the series I didn't beat as a child. I just did, I thought I wasn't going to enjoy it, but it was perfect: the music, scenarios, innovation, story. DKC is the best trilogy of Snes

  • Even though I never grew up with this game, something about this theme feels nostalgic to me.

  • this track is so dark i cannot even begin to accurately metaphor how it makes me feel. all i know is that if i google imaged eveline fischer the composer, the power in my apartment would short circuit and a faint red light would appear over the center of the room as i dash for the green go barrel, i would then carry it to bed and sit there as i stare down an angry crocodile in a vest for the rest of eternity

  • @Aquaticblaq And thus begins the SNES series Aquaticblaq Country.

    XD

  • The camera is pointing at the horizon, it slowly looks down to the water, where a bazza swims just below the surface. The camera shows a Koco swimming into an underwater cave, a flotsam swims just above the ocean floor. A chomps swims by a school of bitesizes. A snaps scuttles along the ocean floor. That is what I see when I'm lying in bed and I hear this song.

  • 0:00 Makes me think about being suddenly dumped into a deep, mysterious reef and getting lost.

1:12 - 1:24 Seeing a great white not to far away, swimming nearby.

    Strangely relaxing but somewhat scary.

  • Its a matter of opinion

  • I actually really like how somber this sounds. My personal favorite song from the game.

  • DKC 3, my favorite game in the series + has the best music in the series

  • @bringitonTV just curious not trying to troll or anything but why do you like this games music better than say DKC2 which has my favorite music of the series?? theres just something about the music in this game that sounds drastically different than the other two and i know it'll grow on me when i take it for what it is and then love the soundtrack but idk kinda annoyed me at first lol

  • @mrTsakiridhs And play them illegally? No thanks, I'm gonna stick with a lagging online emulator.

  • all dkc games have this eerie feeling to them... idk how to explain.. like the environments and the music. I dont get that kind of feeling in modern games anymore sigh...

  • @llJAFYll Yeah! It sort of gives them this really mature feeling even though they used to be played mainly by a younger audience.

  • This game is full of underrated music

  • Maybe I'm crazy, but this is actually my favorite water level music in all the Donkey Kong Country games, GBA versions included. I'm a sucker for emotional atmosphere, and this theme does a beautiful job portraying desolation in the depths.

  • @tehjonbro I agree. This game gets such a bad rap, but it actually might be my favorite of the series.

  • I hate that one level in which you have to feed the stupid fish or it eats you. -_-

  • @mechwarreir2 oohhh yeaaaaah that was really a pain in the ass when i played that level for the first time i never even maked it to the continue barrel like 500 times!!!

  • @mechwarreir2 Heh that level actually traumatized me for quite a while when I was a kid. When I would swim to my cottage this music would pop in my head then I would think that that Parana was closing in on me.

  • Beautiful level with beautiful music :)

  • this song has such a dark sound to it, but its very relaxing and calming at the same time. it matched the evil underwater levels perfectly.

  • David Wise is one of the best videogame composer ever ! :) They don't compose anything like this anymore in videogames these days. DKC rules ! :)

  • @lalaxbo

While I agree, David didn't make this =P It was Eveline Fischer who composed this song ;]

  • Oh god...THIS is one of the reasons Im terrified of being under the sea...vidya games or otherwise.

  • Such a beautiful, yet mystic music.

  • old times :'(

  • I just realized today how weird it is that you can breath underwater...

After playing DKC for so long I just realized that now lol.

  • I've never actually played DKC 3.I love the 1st two ones, and I'm still not sure if this is as good as them or even if it IS good.Every person I hear talk about DKC 3 doesn't really make it clear if they like it or not.So...Is it good or what?

  • @PorLoaf It's good. It's not as fantastic as DKC2, but I'd have to say it's better than DKC1. Give it a try.

  • @SergeantLuke I would but the problem is my sister is the one who owns the SNES meaning she was the one who got the games for it meaning she didn't even know about DKC3 meaning she didn't get it off Ebay and Ireland is fucked for money right know meaning kinda broke right now

  • @SergeantLuke I would but the problem is my sister is the one who owns the SNES meaning she was the one who got the games for it meaning she didn't even know about DKC3 meaning she didn't get it off Ebay and Ireland is fucked for money right know meaning I'm kinda broke right now

  • @PorLoaf

    Its very good

not as the 1 and 2 imho, but i really like it

  • @PorLoaf I will make it clear since I own the 3 of'em and still to this day rock them out on my Snes lol. Dkc3 in my opinion doesn't quite feel like the other 2 but it has it's own charm to it and it is worth playing.

  • @PorLoaf its good. it's more calmer than the other two. donkey kong country 1 and 2 seemed to be more energetic than DKC 3, but this game is still a must play. i liked it a lot and it is not as hard as part 2 but the lost wold in this one is a little harder than the lost world in DKC 2. still it is very close to DKC 2 with different levels that will give you that same challenge the other two brought.

  • I heard this in Sexy Hiking.

  • sexy hiking

  • 4PP sent me here :D

  • Just woke up after falling asleep to this music...i never thought how peaceful my sleep would really be...this song is awesome...

  • thats it wheres my snes im playing this NOW!

  • Love it

  • this song gave me nightmares

  • This is almost a "game over theme" XD

  • DKC3 had some of the best levels ever made in the 16 bit generation. To me the entire trilogy is just perfect, but this one gets the least credit.

  • @sugreev2001 The least credited game of such a trilogy still means a best-seller with an average rating of 80%+. :>

  • i like the corals im spongebob!1!1!!

  • @4rk4id This music is Spongebob when he hits Rock Bottom.

Literally. When he fell to the eternally dark city of Rock Bottom, a terrifying place!

Bathrooms marked with ?s, fart-sounding people, and worst of all...a Kandy Machine that spells Candy wrong! Oooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • This music is something creepy to me awakens a sense of mystery but very cool

  • That is some sinister ass music.

  • This would not be out of place in Ocarina of Time's Water Temple in the least.

  • oh god~

  • Beautiful music... so dark, mysterious and magic.

  • I imported this song into Lunar Magic. Holy shit this is the BEST song to use in a water level if you edit the background pallets to make them more darker.

  • This is the Aquatic Ambience´s opposite!

  • @henriquebio why do you think that?

  • 0:52-1:09 Grand theft kiddy. lol wither way this was my favorite series when i was a kid. Hmm, still got those cartridges..... ahh nostalgia. its what keeps us going.

  • I just put myself deep in my blankets pretending to be lost under the deep realms of the mystical oceans listening to this... really took me away some place!

  • Composer: Eveline Fischer <- Joanna Dark's voice :D !!

Gotta lvoe this track just for this. <3

  • Ding fries are done! ding fries are done!

  • Easily my favorite track in DKC3. Nothing in the game was as close to having this much atmosphere. I absolutely love listening to this when reading about the deep sea. Chilling.

  • So many dark lomng endless nights with this game as a kid!

  • good song...

  • This may sound weird, but this would be a good song to have sex in water to.

  • @mopbrothers I tried, but i just can't agree with you

  • @Niqoleh yeah right.

  • @mopbrothers I nearly choked on my cheerios. I'd like to tell you that your sexual escapades could have cost a life today.

  • @WHATISUTUBE no comment......

  • @WHATISUTUBE Thank you for saving me, im forever in debt to you.. :P

  • although I personally like the GBA soundtrack better (not that the SNES one is bad, because it's great) this is a beautiful song

  • Sounds really menacing

  • These levels always reminded me of the Listerine commercials with the coral reefs looking like the bacteria.

  • Levels this played on:

    Bazza's Blockade

    Fish Food Frenzy

    Floodlit Fish

  • @DullBones Fish food frenzy was terrible for me. Stupid fish kept eating me instead of the fish surrounding me on all directions.

  • Twas always nice and eerie for the ocean levels, long live RARE and DKC

  • Fantastic!

  • This song always make me think I was playing Metroid for a minute before I was snapped back into Donkey Kong by all the collectibles. Did anyone else get this feeling?

  • It just make dream....

Jean Michele Jare,Vanghelis ,Era, they all play similar music

  • @TheRealDaveyDiamonds WOW MAN SAME HERE ,WE COME FROM THE SAME BOAT LOL

  • @TheRealDaveyDiamonds Can't argue with that, I use to play these games hardcore as well, I currently produce music and have to say that these soundtracks are a major reason of why I write good music

  • @TheRealDaveyDiamonds wow reading this is fucked, because i played these games with so much enthusiasm, and now im a producer and dj for progressive trance and my style is also very distant, but natural at the same time. donkey kong music is a part of me, aquatic ambience, stickerbrush symphony, forest interlude etc. all beautiful pieces ;]
