I have no evidence, but that is not relevant, it is the only sensible explanation: They want to show the hypocracy of christianity in itself. Most "moderate" christians - no matter what one may think as a "non-beliver" - do not act, support or "behave" basic christian order or as the bible would claim AT ALL.
