@MissDeeCole it's just a classic game. it was the first basketball game i ever owned and i love all the other realistic ones but this is just more entertaining and a change form realism

i still play this game nearly every day, lol. i can't stand that camera mode you're using though, gotta keep it on sideline view or i get all confused. the only thing this game is missing is the ability to break the backboard in the fourth quarter. and good AI.

@XFile2708 yeah, give it a try, i find it makes the game more playable as the camera doesn't sway around all over the place

I like how they said the names even in this version better than the new one, but the new one plays more like the old one except for the last second ball stopping in mid way after it hits the rim. I miss shoe squeeks. What this game lacked, was perspective...the guys looked HUGE.

The 2003 version on xb0x original looks like the most fun, I have the newest one on xbox 360 and it's fun but the 2003 version looks like more fun.

I played this game for years throughout my childhood, and to finally find a video that brings back good times is great. I remember that I customized my player until he was as talented as possible. I had every clothing layer that bumped your abilities up on and I always made my player Michael Jordan or a 7'6" black man with a giant afro, a giant build, high striped socks, lowcut shorts, and the number 34 in respect to my pasttime favorite player, Shaq. But we, and as any move goes, I lost it.

Even retro looks better on the 16:9 settings on a Widescreen TV. Why have it set on 4:3 in the first place?

@wrestletube1 It was an accident - the TV defaulted to 4:3 as it was set to 'smart' detection... its now set to 16:9 so future XBox vids should be widescreen by default :)

I love NBA. I like to play it on the PS3 (2k10). I don't understand how to manage the teams (formations, play types) though probably because it's an AMerican game. Good Video Marcus, thanks

This game really looks excellent doesn't it? One fine example of what the original Xbox was capable of.

Say I get a feeling that 4:3 was the correct aspect ratio for this game. A lot of Xbox games were 4:3 actually.
