I wish I had found you earlier! You explain thing well. Thank you! Now I know how to use QB finally! I have a question, get ready, I may have made a mess. I've been using QB for a couple years now. I have been learning as I go and I only connected to my bank last year, BUT I haven't been reconciling. Can I just go in at the end of 2009 and adjust my ending bank balance and just go month by month and clean up or can I do it from the end of 2010 so I will at least have 2011 matching up?

its not really in quick books but on accounting, create a Tax Payable or expense account
