  • So what did you use for the explosian and fire effects

  • @rock76222

A program called "Effects Lab Pro". It takes some time to get used to, but I really like and highly recommend it.

  • @Dingocrikey Can u recommend a free version

  • @rock76222

There is Demo version, but there is no complete free version. Anything that is rendered through the demo version will have the EffectsLab Pro logo all over it; so it works to try the program, but basically you'd want to get the real version eventually (which is payed for).

  • 1:04 Dont challenge sideswipe to a sword match. He will bust you up.

  • that's like a repaint of sideswipe because it uses the same colors as sideways right?

  • @rock76222

I don't know if he was intentionally supposed to have Sideways's colors, but they do kind of look like his. Actually the figure I used is a new mold, just based off of the same design. It was released in the "Hunt for the Decepticons" line under the name "Sidearm Sideswipe"; personally I prefer it to the original mold.

  • What do you use for programs

  • @OnlyTheSchlepper

I used "Roxio Creator 2011" for most of the video editing and "Effects Lab Pro" for the lasers, fire, etc.

  • Good viedeo

  • nice i love it

  • dingocrickey

Ok if it is as good as the long haul/sideswipe one i will subsribe and reccomend you on other transformers movies to see your channel

  • Dingocrickey

Dude u should make a series I would subscribe if u do

  • @sporks14

It's something I've thought about, maybe one day. Currently I'm working on a new stop motion battle, which I hope will be my best yet.

  • This is like the greatest motha-effen movie ever!!!!!!

  • @sporks14

    Thanks!

  • 2 minutes and 10 seconds of pure awsomeness!

  • who could dislike this?!

  • nice

  • @SuperDellr

    Thanks!

  • what program did you use for putting this stop motion together.

  • @TheBotinator300

Well, allot of programs were used altogether, but the main ones were "Roxio Creator 2011" (for the overall video editing) and "Effects Lab Pro" (for visual effect editing).

  • @Dingocrikey thanks but when you render a picture it has the effects lab pro logo on it how do you remove it

  • @Dingocrikey thanks but when you render a picture it has the effects lab pro logo on it how do you remove it

  • @TheBotinator300

The logo is there in the demo version if you were to buy the real version you wouldn't have that problem. Have you experimented with the program allot? It's a good program, but I would recommend messing with the demo allot to see if it's the right effects program for you.

  • How do u put fire in this?

  • @EMan1277

I used a program called Effects Lab Pro to do that along with the rest of the effects. I actually would have preferred really burning a double of the figure, but he probably would have been too melted by like the third frame, lol.

  • @Dingocrikey could you tell me the link to the effects lab pro, please?

  • @Dingocrikey what figures did u use for this?

  • @optimegatrongodzilla

I used Revenge of the Fallen: Long Haul and Hunt for the Decepticons: Sidearm Sideswipe. I doubt you'll be able to find the figures in stores anymore; but I think a blue and yellow repaint of Sidearm Sideswipe was recently released.

  • Totally cool vid man, keep em coming !!! :D

  • @Jerovision

    Thanks!

  • badass animation and figures make a great combination

  • @Kaykadem

    Thanks!

  • ok mi dude thats badass

  • finally u put up a video lol :) nice video bro 11/10

  • @StopMotionsVideos

Ya, it has been a while, I was wondering if would ever have another one uploaded (lol). Thanks!

  • wow that was cool, how did u do the special effects?

  • @AznKidMatt

I use a program called Effects Lab Pro.

  • i found one called hitfilm

  • @TheBotinator300

Ya, I think that is what it is called now. I might try a demo for it, just to see if it's anything like ELP, and let you know if it's worth a try.

  • Nice job

    Great stopmotion

    And really cool camera angles

  • did you have a hard time making this awesome video?

  • @devastator451

    Thanks!

To some extent it was kind of hard. The shooting (filming) was actually the easy part for me, I can't stand doing the visual effects/video editing. It makes everything allot easier though when you don't cram getting everything done in one day. I set a time to work on this one each day and timeline of when to have it done. Also since I thought ahead to what work I was going to be doing it wasn't so bad. Never the less video editing is a pain in the neck for me.

  • nice thanks for sending

  • @martingrievouslee

Your welcome! Glad you enjoyed it.

  • Thanks for sending me this. As always, very action packed and exciting!

  • This is awesome

  • @twiztidlestat

    Thanks!

  • Awesome ninjaness!!!

  • @Cheezykid111

    Thanks!

  • SICK!

  • @Joe22Awsome

    Thanks!

  • That was pretty dang awesome! What program did you use?

  • @OptimusSmyth

I use Roxio Creator 2011 for general video editing, Effects Lab Pro for visual effects, and Total Recorder for sound effects. They're all very good programs and worth trying.

  • @Dingocrikey

    Are any of those free?

  • @OptimusSmyth

There are free trials/demos for each of them, but none are free, sorry. I think you could still use a trial version/unregistered version of Total Recorder to get sound effects. The difference from the full version is that you'll hear a beep every minute of recording. Considering typical sound effects aren't that long I think it would work fine.

  • @Dingocrikey

So basically each sound effect has an irritating beep at the beginning?

  • @OptimusSmyth

No, it's not like that; if you record something 1 minute or longer you will hear a noise (more like static) briefly at every minute. I'll try to find somewhere you could get a free trial for it.

  • @Dingocrikey

Oh, I see. That's like what happened when I downloaded Audacity. Well I'm more interested in royalty free sound effects if it has any...

  • Very good job, just where do you get the sound effects

  • Very good, favorited.

  • What program did you use for the effects

  • @TheBotinator300

I used a program called Effects Lab Pro. It probably isn't the most "top notch", professional program, but if you learn how to work with it it can be an excellent one to use to make effects. If you're getting serious about making stop motion videos, I would recommend trying the trial version of it.

  • @Dingocrikey is the trial version free

  • @Dingocrikey is the trial version free

  • @TheBotinator300

When I had used it, the trial version (well it's actually called a demo version) it was free; but it looks like the site and products has kind of changed things since then, but I think they should still have a free one for whatever their new program is.

  • wow amazing stop motion, keep up the good work

  • @thefallen835

    Thanks!

  • awesome maaan!!! :D

  • Hella awesome stop motion i liked the sound effects

  • @transformersrocks1

    Thanks!

  • Dude this was totally awesome, I think it was your best. I'm fav. this. Sideswipe was soooo cool with his blasters and dodging all those sword attack. very well done!!!!

  • @ShadowElite217

    Thanks very much!

  • cool fight scene :)

  • @ToaHannah007

    Thank you!

  • Must say though, I can see the room through the set sometimes, which can be distracting. I think what may help the idea that these are supposed to be giant robots would be low-angle shots, giving the illusion of immense size.

  • @Mrspikeprime

Ya, I noticed that I could see the room. I had meant to fix it, but by the time I had remembered it was pretty far into editing and would cause allot of backtracking, next SM I'll plan to elminate anything like that. I've thought about the size thing before, but personally I'm fine with it for the type of SM's I do. Thanks for the comment!

  • awesome man please sub to my new channel Botinator400

  • Comment removed

  • A little too shakey in some places, and some of the movements could have been a little more fluidic I think, but overall is well shot and composited.

  • Awesome!

  • @Mr007jamster

    Thanks!
