  • From what I understand, The raga is Maru-Bihag and the location is Mahabaleshwar! The "point" and the "Peak" below showing the lava layers of the Deccan TRAPS of the Sahyadri mountains are unmistakable.

Another great song in same location was "Kuchh dil ne kaha" from Anupama. Again starring Dharmendraji. Though the heroine was different, being Sharmila Thakur.

  • @jupadhye well I used to think it was shyam kalyan, and someone corrected me that its nand/anand kalyani, definitely not maru bihag.

  • hai kya suhana musam thaa sub kuch nya nya thaa.............

  • Aik aik MURQEE par KHANJAR say war par war kya hay lata ji nain aur credit goes to its ARCHITECT LAXMI JI salute to all of them 03332604292

  • lovely song ..!

  • This is one of the outstanding dance and song sequences.. Extraordinary talents of singers, actors, music director, lyricist, choreographer, director of photography, director and all the technical staff.... Real Classic

  • AAgai Din Bahar Key.

  • One of the all time hits of Lataji; though the song is from yesteryears, it is still captivating the present gen youth. Ashaji and Dhramji acted quite naturally...a lesson for present day actors

  • LAXMIKANT PYRELAL as usual has compposed a neem classical composition which was their TRADITION and style Every thing is so perfect that it is hard to find the FLAW from the song and LATA ge has done great job by singing such a difficult composition with such an EASE 03332604292

  • Orchestra is too good specially use of flute before first stanza. Music before last stanza makes you feel that you are on "zula". Three cheer to LP

  • who is this mehla007? It seems he /she has no musical and listening sense for hisvery poor 'kaan chatu' comments. It is such a beautiful and perfect song by Lataji.

  • lovely

  • This song is just superb, melody,Lataji's perfect singing, Asha & Dharmendra's performance, Choreography..everything perfect.

The tabla is simply out of this world...one of the most beautiful "Thekas",I have ever heard.

  • I hope that is a good thing? I don't know all the slang so I don't know if this comment means something bad or not?

  • This song is masterpiece . Creation of Indian classical music , romantic lyrics ,evergreen Lataji at her best and superb picturization.

  • Anybody knows that who played Tabla. According to me it's played by Pt. Kishan Maharaj, is it?

  • This is also my query as to who played tabla in this song. Tabla maestro Pt Samta Prasad who played divine tabla in "Naache Man Mora..." song appears to have played tabla in this song too.

  • There are two tablas being played so there may be two table players!!!

  • fine and superb
