First of all the performance was flawless no matter who ruined what. He is one, if not the best, of the best "Billy Elliots" so far.

Do you have even the faintest idea how hard it is to be a sound engineer for live TV shows. An EQ session will have been done before hand and they only would have finished the session once the producers and vocal coaches said it was ok. They dont just give people a mic and say "put that on, clip the pack onto you belt and say 1 2 testing" Studio recording and live sound are two very different things - the latter being the hardest.

i agree with everything you've said here!!!!! :) he is definitely going places, and i completely agree with the "gay" issue. i hate when people say those things because one of my friend's mom made him quit his drama classes and he was really good just because she was afraid that he would be gay. that's so horrible that she did that! just because he was talented didn't mean he was gay.
