LOL--nice collision detection! I remember when I was a kid in high school--we were in the Apple ][ computer club. The teacher brought in an article about the kids that wrote this game. She said, "This is what you guys need to be doing instead of playing games."
I still have our Apple 2 and the disks. We had a copied disk with this on it, and the one of the things I remember most vividly is the high scores page that reads "T Wilkins is a waste of sperm".
That's the first thing that came to mind when I saw that title screen - I'm still laughing.
Bear in mind I was about 5-6 years old at the time, and I still remember that.
Funny thing: now Don Mattrick is former head of EA Worldwide and now head of Interactive Entertainment Business at Microsoft. He co-wrote this game as a kid. I remember it being a big local story when I was growing up in BC.
Whoops? Wow, there's the understatement of the century.
This looks a lot better than the ColecoVision version, which was a disaster from all angles.

So, what did we learn from this game :D
1. Amebas evolve into frogs, frogs into mice, mice into beavers and beavers into gorillas.
2. Beavers live in the same waters as there is a lot of crocodiles
3. Gorillas throw oranges at cats
4. Humans shoot lazerbeams
lol

That's classic. The evolution is like Spore. In computers and game functions.

Can you show a completed game in the Intermediate and Advanced levels? What happens when you finish level 18 in the advanced level?
