this made me cry. i cant believe how cruel breeders are to their animals! all of my dogs are from a shelter, but my rabbit was from a breeder. she ended up having a rabbit disease that almost killed her. luckily we were able to save her. she is sweet, but she has the scars from the disease. her head is tilted slightly to the right and will never be completely straight again.

i adopted my kitten from the shelter and she definalty has a different personality. Feels like i saved her life but then i think of all the animals in the pet shops in their tiny cages. Either way it doesn't seem to be very fair.

millions of animals are put down every year because they don't have a home and shelters can only keep them for so long.

every animal that's bought from a pet store or a breeder fills up a home that could have been taken by a shelter animal that will eventually be put to death.

i adopted my rabbit from a shelter, personally, he's my favorite out of all my pets, he has the most personality, he was given such loving care at the shelter which i think made him who he is now. i will never buy EVER again

i adopted both of my rabbits from the spca is montreal.

they're the greatest. they're big white bunnies with long standing up ears, the bigger of the two weighs 14 pounds (and he's very fit... always running around).

I always adopt my kitties and dogs from animal shelters. I dislike breeders because they make $500+ on animals they don't always take good care of. Plus pure breeds are more sickly then 'muts' as their blood line could contain higher risk of blindness and other ailments.

theres no need for people to be breeding dogs or any other animal.

there are millions of animals in shelters who have been abandoned or stray, sick or injured who are waiting for a loving home.

this video is saying that when you go to a breeder/pet store and buy an animal from that breeder/pet store, an animal in a shelter is euthanized.

people shouldn't buy from pet stores or breeders when there are so many great animals in shelters waiting for a caring home.
