  • Dear Duke,

Your games were good in the 90's, you are no longer relevant.

    Sincerely,

    The Gaming Community

  • Mingus was in the studio working on this right around the same time that Coltrane was recording "Giant Steps". Talk about convergent evolution. If you ask me though, it almost sounds as if Trane ripped some licks from this track ;)

  • I agree, one of the greatest albums ever... I still have it in vinyl!!!

  • just ordered this vinyl from the local store... $30 for the smoothest, hands-down-best jazz i've ever heard? a steal!

  • @Steoandnoodles1 E

    East coasting is better

  • Just wonderful.

  • lol. great art work :)

  • One of the greatest albums EVER!! Any time,by anyone,in any genre or category. It sounds just as fresh,fifty-one(!)years after it's recording....Booker Ervin, certainly one of the unsung heroes of the tenor,is absolutely on fire throughout the album. This is one for the time capsule.

  • I love this number, thanks much for posting this. Nice job.
