This is a nice set up and great video-thank you! I would really love to see the whole process. Your tank looks pretty awesome too, it's ok to heat stuff in it?
@airtexaco You can heat in poly tanks but need to build an inline heater and run the pump constantly. Can be problematic though. Reg water tank heaters mounted in plastic tanks = possible fire. See my other videos, I heat the oil in a steel drum with a band heater. 1000w band heater takes 6-8hrs to heat to 130degF. Total setup $700-1000 depending on tank sizes, heater types, etc. Here in Canada payback is 5-6 tank fills in my F250.
@westvandude Thanks for all the info, after a brief search, I found a lot of information on your page... My fault =) I have an 02 with the 1.9 and am using a 50/50 mix in mine now. There is a biodiesel plant about 40 miles away and it is about 40 cents cheaper a gallon. I found a new 55 gallon steel drum for $30 and like that method better. Thanks again for posting these, I love Canada and of course, it's beer =)
@airtexaco We like beer too, but a well kept secret is most of us drink nice microbrew beers vs Molson Canadian, Kokanee, etc. It's like Bud in the US.... sure it's beer but usually when they tell me in the bar "Canadian is on special", I say, "thanks, but I just washed my car". LOL Here we enjoy Okanagan Spring 1516, Sleeman's, Granville Island beer, etc. $30 is good deal on the drum.
Drain the water and use a centrifuge for drying, quick and very efficient. Works best if heated slightly.

@MrVaneurin Yep, you are correct. I'm saving my pennies for a good centrifuge. Cheers.
