  • This is brilliant.

  • Wow. You know you're a nerd when you laugh at this. And I did. DFTBA :D

  • I suppose the flipside of apostrophe is like Althusser's ideological recognition:

    "Hey you!"

    "Who me?"

I am youtube? You are youtube? We are subjects, dawg!

  • That was absolutely fabulous.

  • Your pretty clever.

  • Gotta ask: My pretty clever what?

  • Hahahaha <3

  • "are you talking to me?" nice cinematographic effect.

I think you look much more like Paccino than De Niro though.

  • I'll take either one. Thanks.

  • Um, wow. That was awesome.

    English nerds ftw.

  • Nice catch, mickeleh. I was completely in the dark! That John Green...! His is the nerdy kind of sneakiness.

    ~ Jethro.

  • Wow. I hadn't even known about that use of the word. You're good!

  • I just love it when someone starts crawlin' through the archives.

  • Mickeleh, well-played yourself, sir! Impressive and intelligent catch, there!

  • English is a really tough language: I've heard that German is harder. But I don't know. I don't agree either, that the mis-use of "your" instead of "you're" makes you stupid. I think it IS stupid to rave and yell about it for 5 minutes, though. Maybe I'm stupid that I watched the whole thing, hoping for something "inspiring." Oh, well...

  • English is the most difficult language.

    It's...opps or is that its

    crap I give up

will this comment work considering it's the brave new world of the crashing beta channel

  • Oh, silly English language. Perhaps two completely different words should be invented.

It was great meeting you this weekend!

  • Taxi Driver! Nice one!

  • My senior year of high school,I was in a senior mentoring program.(It is where we mentor an elementary student in a subject they are struggling in)At the end of the year we had to write a paper about someone who was a great mentor in our lives. We had to peer edit each others. There were so many people who did not know the difference between "Your" and "You're".The saddest thing is the kid i mentored had to write papers and had that skill down pat.

    Great video!

    It was nice meeting you!

  • As great as YOUR videos are, YOU'RE that much more awesome in person, Mickeleh! This weekend was absolutely amazing.

    Cheers!

  • That was all kinds of punny. I appreciated that.

  • I used to have terrible punctuation, and then one day it finally hit me and I became a typo-freak.. I can't stand it when people do not use proper grammar anymore so I much appreciate this video :)

  • Mickeleh this was brilliant.

  • oooooh Mickeleh haha awesome vid, very clever.

  • Lovely! You are ever so clever.

  • There you are. I was beginning to wonder when...

Wait, was this an English lesson?

    DARN YOU MICKELEH!

  • Nah, it's not an English lesson. It's comedy for lit. nerds.

  • That's a good point! I love the English language.

    It's so weird. : )

  • Been a while. Good return.

  • Too long. I must do this more often. Thanks

  • Ah Mickeleh, you never cease to amaze me. Awesome Indeed =]

  • Brilliant as always!

  • Thank you, as always.

  • Most clever indeed.

    Homonym-tastic.

  • Thanks. words for nerds. We never close.

  • What? I've always known that YouTube was an attraction and a distraction that led to countless hours of inaction, but now it's an abstraction too? An imaginary friend I can talk to? Satisfaction!

  • Hope I'm gaining traction. I adore your reaction.

  • I have missed you... is the subscriber report for Q2 coming?

  • There will be charts. Not a whole lot. But I will have something for you.

  • This is fantastically clever. You are too.

  • that is beautiful.

  • Mickeleh, your constant supply of witty remarks never fails to amuse me. :D

  • I wish the supply were more constant. But I'll try and step up the pace. Glad you enjoyed it.

  • Haha, wonderful. =)

  • Thanks.

  • Oh mickeleh, how did I ever consider my life complete before you entered it?

  • I'm hoping you're not considering it so now that I have.

  • I went all the way through school I never understood this... you get good at not using certain words... like "definitely" :) I was probably about 18 when I finally "got it" haha

  • I've you got it by 18, you're way ahead of me.

  • hahaha, well done, well done. Same as Michelle, I thought you were serious until about the last, oh, 30 seconds or so of the video. :)

  • It took me too long before I understood what this was about. (What a shame, as in Dutch there are actually two words: "apostrof" for the ' and "apostrophe" for the style.)

Really nice how you thought of this :D

  • There are probably two words in English as well. Unfortunately they are are written and pronounced identically. We try to avoid confusion by only asking literature nerds to know both meanings.

  • RGDS would like to say that he would never allow his weeDoggie to misuse his apostrophe as it could lead to some very strange misunderstandings.

  • You must've recorded this as soon as you got home from the gathering.

  • Nope. Next day. Great meeting you there.

  • For a minute I thought you were actually upset ;)

I did like that video, and I love this response :)

  • As Jon Lovitz would say, "acting!" And thanks.

  • Ha ha! and The Electric Company related video just made me smile so much as well :)
