I think something like 27 negro league players are in the hall of fame. should be alot more. Paige was top 5 pitchers ever. And he was considered by some to be 2 or 3 in Negro Leagues.

a lot of research was done for this. alot of people feel mays was great but flashy and don't rate him top 5. speaker reinvented centerfield defense, maddox got alot of votes for best ever, flood and charleston were considered better than mays. as for jones, you have a good point but he was incredible.
