id thrash the 6R4 in my old Metro called Florence. 998cc of pure British muscle which could squeeze the ton. but the head gasket would blow every time. had my first blowey whilst driving that car...dammit i miss her

yeah my little metro would out accelerate a porsche at traffic lights and they are so easy to wheelspin i got 110 out of my 1litre metro and it had a manual choke that is very old fashioned by todays standards but as u said the head gaskets go a lot but its a engine design fault common to all rovers otherwise the car would be the perfect little hot hatch

@radioxxflyer have you ever seen a four wheel drive group 4 super car pulling up its handbrake ? they had permanent 4 wheel drive so the front and back had to do exactly the same thing
