  • I'm from, I guess, "old school", when describing a roll-back. Maybe, the new-time judges have made roll-back descriptions changed, so more horses can execute a kind of roll-back in a reining class. I've trained & competed many many years ago :) and had 2 good horses execute good roll-backs. Now, I watch & watch reining, & don't see real roll-backs.....just wondering what happened to them ??

  • In a roll-back, your horse never comes to a stop.

  • @dustyappy unless the reining pattern says to hesitate

  • dude!!! that is just cutting practice what you are doing helps teach a horse to change leads all i can say is larry trocha hs great material for beginners seek help but nice try

  • I'm not really sure if you know what rollback is :D

  • Wow. Thanks for that helpful comment. To clarify, this video was taken last summer when Sky had four months under saddle. It was his first day working on rollbacks.

  • I love doing roll backs and turn backs, I've finally got my boy to lift his front feet and turn on his back.
