Thank you. I went to see/hear Country Joe and the Fish in Madison, Wisconsin in 1968. The were featured with a group called simply SRC...ever heard of them?
I'm a huge CJATF fan - even tho they are beyond my time (i'm 28 y.o.). I'm also a Fraternity of Man fan -> i kinda like them for some of the same reasons. This "Fraction" sounds pretty good too ----> but i was wondering if anyone had other suggestions (psych / anti establishment bands) for me?
@eoswald203 its goof youre into this stuff. on the revolutionary counterculture side ther were so many with varying degrees of that at the time. the most overt ones would include : mc 5 the deviants, mothers of invention, jefferson airplane...
This has been so well written. Every musician plays so well. They've put a lot of work into getting that really trippy sound. The cymbals, the bass, the organ, the crazy guitar work
can anyone please tell me what psychedelic band, they were really unknown had a cover with like a red moon on it i heard them on youtube the other month and i cant remember what they were called any help is much appreciated
@harleybrewer99 Might be a little late responding to a 5 month old comment... but I think you're thinking of the band fraction (album is called moon blood or something).
