I like the Lexus SC400 and LS400 acceleration feel. . Its not loud. Power Feels just right when you hit the gas pedal and accelerate. I think it was a 4.0L V8. But of course I think its also in the gas pedal, transmission and cranking. Were trying to develop just the right ideal feel for the automobile. Not lagging or senseless engine noise without acceleration. The 2001 BMW 750Li was a monster but it was a V12.

I was scanning through club lexus and i saw a thread that claims you can use the OEM struts combined with B&G aftermarket supra springs to lower these cars about 1.5 inches, if its true i would like to go that route instead. Coilovers are a little to pricy for me right now. Any advice would be appreciated.

This was either an sc300 with the 2jz-gte swap or an sc400 with the 2jz-gte/6spd swap. The sc400 came with a v8 originally, and the sc400 only came in auto.

The 1uz is a good platform but the aftermarket isn't there for it. You can spend thousands on thousands to upgrade the 1uz and have only half the power of a bolt-on 2j. Just not worth it in my opinion.
