"Forgive your friend." Does anyone else think the giant is referring to Navi? I mean, the whole premise of the game is that someone's only friend(s) left them without giving explanation and then that person did something drastic in response. Knowing how hard it was to have Skull Kid resent them, they would also know how hard it was on Navi leaving her friend without a word too.... and hoped that unlike Skull Kid, Link would be able to forgive without ever knowing the reason.... T_T

Hey Caleb. I don't know if you knew I noticed you did not mention one of twinmolds weaknesses. If you pay attention one of them is red and one is blue. The red one takes bonus damage from ice arrows and the blue one fire arrows. Idk if you didn't know this or just didn't mention it, but that is another option for killing these two.

this boss may not require all the transformations mask but the oh so fun moon children quest kinda makes up for that..

If you are running out of magic, destroy one of those stone pillars and transform back to small. Then get the magic and transform to big again. I'm not sure if you can get magic from anywhere else than those stone pillars... :/

Better watch your magic meter!

i beat these guys with a small magic bar and 10 hearts and no defense boost on the hearts, im not bragging but they were still a piece of cake, gomess should of been the boss of stone tower temple!

the old prima guide that i had said that if u wanted to fight it without the giants mask that the great fairy sword is the most effective melee weapon it always seemed like suicide to me so i never tried it

You really REALLY need the big magic meter for this boss.

@buc555 Nah you don't, I've just did it without the big magic meter and I hardly struggled. I just hit the big pillars when I was wearing the Giant's mask and then picked up the magic pots.

in my opinion using the light arrows is the best way to defeat them if you had the kokiri not the gilded sword,

HA!!! u thought this boss was one of the easiest in zelda history, u clearly have never tried a 3 heart minimal challenge of this game. ( as in, without gettting the giants mask or anything)

I went off the edge of the battle arena once and was so pissed when I realized I had to fight them again, because one was already dead. I kicked their asses the 2nd time to make up for it though. :)

I think that it is in you're walkthrough over at ZD, but if you use fire arrows on the blue one, and ice arrows on the red one, it takes about, i think 4 on each.

Hey Caleb, one of my friends told me that you can damage the blue moldorm with fire arrows and the red one with ice arrows very effectivly. Is this true?

i didn't beat this till years after majora's mask came out and someone told me a rumor that you could defeat twinmold if you defeated the right one first clearly that's not the case (by that they meant if you defeated the right one both would go down

@thelegendofclonejosh There is a stronger sword than the Gilded Sword. In fact, it is the prize for getting all 15 Stray Fairies of Stone Tower Temple.

@thelegendofclonejosh the sword more powerful than the glided sword is the great fairys sword, which can be obtained by gathering all the stray fairies in the stone tower temple, but it is an inventory item, like the hookshot and is set the the arrows instead of the B button, but it does a TON of damage
