One of the things that still gets me (Troop snare '07-09) is the reaction of OTHER CORPS mEMBERS when we were announced. Heck, Blue Stars SPLIT THEIR RANKS for us and applauded us as we came out of Finals. That was the only time I cried that night.
Thank you DCI, y'all made that night memorable for me, even two years later.
It's soo odd hearing that voice from a guy who you'd never expect to have it. It seems like he has an implanted voice recording in his mouth and his just moves his lips with the words.
I marched troopers back in 2003 ..One of only two black guys on the hornline...the other being my twin brother who is now teaching the troopers baritone line...Man when i heard the crowd on this video i got chills and teared up....WOW!!!...Go TROOP!!!>>>HLD!!!

Yep I'm old enough to remember when the Troopers were in the finals every year. I was in Spirit of Atlanta 78-80... Good job Troopers.

I love how I can listen to the CD's from finals in the last ten years and see how he says each corps the SAME WAY every year. Amazing.
