Whenever I'm in school and me and my classmates as doing assignments on our macs using Microsoft Word, everytime we end up going "No, no, no, no, NO!!!!", when the mac starts freezing. So far, I've survived it without losing any unsaved documents, but many of my classmates have not... All our macs are only 2-3 months old too. Most apps/programs not created by apple doesn't tend to run very well on the mac... Keeps crashing and what not :/

A mac of course is a computer, but if you wanna be pedantic, you could say they are not "PC"s. I agree with you generally however; the only thing that differentiates a Mac is the OS (captain obvious): the hardware is all the same, except Apple have decided to label the entire product with their brand by giving them a unique look (read: sealed box).

Oh, don't forget that a competent Windows user could actually *Gasp* re-install everything on their system, and *Gasp* troubleshoot ghost errors (ones with no real reason that's logically connected), or *Gasp* .... lord forbid... do better (and faster rendering) video editing with the correct program, and handle far more intensive work, since you can get the hardware to back up the solid program (Sony Vegas), or *Gasp* ... do larger 3D rendering.

Just sucks the Linux-like OSX adds $2000 to the price of a $800 computer, U get $800 worth of hardware then freeware OSX to take it to almost $3k lol and still no games or hardware support.
