wow.....a psychologist musician....this song and the narrcistic disorder song was my life for over 5 yrs. I still love him. I walked away even as my heart was breaking to do so. I believed that he loved me....but it was more fear of losing me than love and keeping me safe. He never hit me.....but boy he really messed up my head.....do you have any songs to help heal....thanks for these songs, I stumbled upon. You must have a heart of gold.

Doug, this brings back emories of a specific relationship after my 1st wife passed away. Back then, I met a lady friend who "pretended to love me, but , it was all a ruse. My vulnerability after my first wife's passing was was exploited by this lady so that she could easily acquire a residence in the apartment building where I lived at the time. . It was a rough time emotionally for myself at the time, Aftewards, I was fortunate to have met my dear wife Hilary of 17 years!!.
