  • When writing scene headings a [.] is used between location and time of day. Also a characters name is also written in capitals - the first time his/her name is written. After that their name is written in lowercase, obviously with a capital first letter.

Additionally, don't ever cast your friends to your movie. Unless your friends have years of acting experience and sheer enthusiasm, your movie will be a wreck. Without a budget, you can go to local theatres, film schools, drama companies, etc.

  • Maybe you should rename your channel to '3 mediocre, unexperienced filmmaker wannabees'.

  • Or you could go away. Either one works fine.

  • In the scripts that I have studied and read the names are capitalized throughout. And casting your RESPONSIBLE friends is perfect! I used my friends in one of my films and we won a computer in a contest. For that film, spent $10. Made a total of $600.

Just got schooled by a "mediocre" filmmaker.

  • Not really

  • I love all of your videos kalaniman1movies, all of your feature-length films are absolutely stunning. you got the concept down all right. Like RedHandedRejects said, go away.

  • I really like your comedic attitude and making sure we learn about films. I actually learned more about scripts then I ever had during this video because I can relate to the comedy. Thanks!

  • Thanks! Writing from RedHandedRejects.

  • yo man.you stealed IsgatOnU´s music.

  • @bystron21 I probably did. The music I used is on Soundtrack Pro and Apple iMovie so a lot of people have used it in their videos. Thanks for pointing it out though!

  • tip: do not make the music that loud... make it softer and in the background.

  • @MacFadden01 Will do! Thanks for the advice!

  • lulz so formal! lulzlulzlulzlulzlulzlulzlulzlulzlulz..
