  • is that yessong lp's? you dumb b****!

  • Okay haha, nice magic trick. Now make it flat again.

  • fuck this shit i wont destroy my lps to doing shit

  • Lol why the hell u burned down those records? if u sold it next 5 years, maybe u can get some profit on it!! DUMB

  • why'd you melt Band of Gypsys? :(

  • i hope this whas justin bibers record

  • You've just destroyed these beautyful music... You should be in hell...

  • Who said that only good music is on vinyl ? There's a ton of french crap from the 80's that only deserve this.

  • What liquid do you use?

  • @neluctin HOT

  • You should be shot for wasting good music.

All the nice analog...the end of wonderful true sound...and here you are turning it into a bowl...and an ugly one at that. UGH

  • Probably a good use for old unwanted LPs. The thrift stores thrown them in the trash if dont sell so I dont understand the protest posts here. There is no shortage of these common LPs. Now if they were mint condition old jazz lps thats another question.

  • You should be arrested and be placed in jail for this. This to me is like seeing puppies being drown!!

  • I suggest you only do this with cliff richard records

  • Comment removed

  • FUCK THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • The local record store where I live makes and sells these like hot cakes. They just use records beyond playable condition or artists nobody likes.

  • @toasteroven427

    "...artists nobody likes..."

How about some silver candy dishes?

    watch?v=kfVsfOSbJY0

    ;-)

  • @bushputz

    Your point?

  • Cruelty to vinyl

  • It's a sad thing to see this happen to a record, one person's junk = another person's treasure, but whatever. The biggest issue I have with it is if you are going to do it, at least make them flat so they'll sit right on a table.

Now if you're going to ruin something, try one of those flat sounding, post-mortally-dull-to-the-senses CDs you have in your collection.

  • Some music sucks and needs to be destroyed. Barry Manilow and Bruce Springstein come to mind. And there's enough Lawrence Welk and Mitch Miller on vinyl in the world, you could build a structure large enough to eliminate homelessness!!

  • @UMAMIMAMU You should listen to those artists. You might learn something.

  • @totalrandomcrap Like what? That Barry Manilow "writes the songs"? That Bruce Springstein's "the boss"? And as for Lawrence Welk and Mitch Miller....they're ok. Not my bag, but I'm not about to lampoon them. But Manilow and Springstein put out cannon fodder!

  • @chippychin this breaks my heart.

  • Зачем же так!!!(((((((((((((((((

  • Oh no! I can only hope they were Prog Rock Lps.

  • Hey, look everyone! It's a fucking idiot destroying a vinyl LP!

  • P I R A S A L E S . C O M <CLASSIC ROCK AND HIP HOP RECORDS

  • Too much time on your hands, not enough thought in your stupid head!

  • nevermind...idiot...

  • ur gonna melt the fucking record lol

  • I love making those!

my favorite records to use are the engelbert humperdink and statelier bros. records >:)

  • 1. Kettle, not keddle

    2. Worse than the action of actually boiling down a vinyl record, is the result you're getting from it. Just cause you 'can' do something, doesn't always mean you should.. God that's ugly.. just buy a bowl that isn't hideous and throw the record out or give it to someone.

    3. How many vinyl bowls do you have?

  • That's something called vandalism!

  • AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH I CAN'T WATCH!!!!!!!!!!!!! yikes! You butt snuggling turd burglar! I am SO SICK of people making 'arts & crafts' out of perfectly good records and cassettes. really tired of it, especially when i have such a hard time finding certain albums... than i see someone has made a 'craft' out of a record i've been searching for *forever*... omg.

  • @JohnnyLovelyMusicVid I take it you're talking about the copy of Amon duul's Dance of the Lemmins?? Nearly made me sick when i saw it!!!!

  • @JohnnyLovelyMusicVid yes but what happens to them when no one wants them anymore... alas. someone will make something out of you one day. p.s/ if you hate it so much how come you have posted on every record crafting video i have watched today... hmm yes.

  • @JohnnyLovelyMusicVid i make stuff with records but the ones i use are old scratched up ones from yard sales that dont work so in a way i recycle :)

  • @JohnnyLovelyMusicVid What is so sickening? I would understand if the records were in mint or in good condition, but some people have common sense and would do this only to records that are scratched as hell and cant even be enjoyed when played on a turntable, might as well recycle and not thrown to the trash eh? Think outside the box for a moment.

  • Someone here in Sweden had made one of these bowls... later they found out that the record itself was worth about $400... sad :D Don't know what the record was.

  • @randomforum wow that sucks , i would do this with shitty records.

  • caca de popo

  • I want to make a Compact Disc Bowl!!!

  • i love to have a recourd boll. i have beat up ones that skip and stuff love to try it.

  • It´s a experiment long time ago, in 70´s has a lot of LPs, Well..

The name of the song please.

  • SHAME ON YOU!!!! LISYEN TO IT, DONT DESTROY IT!!!

  • eres un idiota que solo destruye vinilos estupido, pense que habia gente tarada pero no sabia que ubiera gente pelotuda e idiota como vos.

    chingate atentamente Brnda9Isa

  • Still don't know how to do it, since you just destroyed both records :))

  • and i bet this is a great bowl for hot soup!

  • down

  • if u dont want them give them to me :D

  • yo pagaria por tener estos discos.

  • lame shit, just send me the fucking records, don't wreck them...

  • ASESINANDO HISTORIA SE DEBERÍA LLAMAR ESTE TUTORIAL -

  • one problem... say your eating soup, its all gonna drain out the hole at the bottom.

  • @lawrence096 Duct tape, Usage 491; Stopping water.

  • @lawrence096 definitely not for food.

  • @lawrence096 id love to see you eat soup from a bowl that deforms itself when in contact with not even boiling water

  • @lawrence096 lmfao :)

  • Изувер

  • I am an avid vinyl collector. I also make vinyl bowls. Let's say an independent record store owner has, due to either damage or lack of demand, bins of records collecting dust, one could hope to sell for perhaps a dollar. With a little effort, he or she could make some up-cycled retail side items, with a unique appeal to the vinyl collector, music lover, or perhaps just those with quirky tastes. These could be sold for as little as 3 to 5 bucks, although I've seen them go for as much as 10.

  • @iamactionfigures $26 is the highest I've seen thus far.

  • :C

  • I like this, but I collect Vinyl records (to listen to) which is a bit strange?

  • this is blaspheme, fatwa on this guy

  • Is this hot water or something else u are using to make the vinyl pliable to be formed into a bowl?

  • Fuck!!!

  • I can't believe there are people without brain lake you!! The vinyl Still alive today!! enjoy the really music, culture, don't make stupid things!! Poor our earth planet.OMG!!!!!!!

  • As long as it's a reissue I don't care lol. The originals (with the sleeve) are the ones worth the money.

I never knew those were that easy though. I have a bunch of unplayable or worthless records lying around here. You'd make more money doing that to them then to just keep them around.

  • That is Jimi Hendrix's Band of Gypsies I see lying on that there table. How dare you ruin such an amazing album.

  • Hope the first one was not a Led Zeppelin dude

  • This video made a lump go up in my throat. How could they do such a thing. Why take something that is already the greatest form of art you'll ever have and turn it into some meaningless plastic bowl?

  • Antisocial personality disorder?

  • This is really sad...

  • Music Rape!

  • WHAT HAVE YOU DONE

  • all you hippies... omg an old record that nobody cares about anymore is being turned into something else!

  • @phillymscott

WHAT?!?!??! people still care about records you dope!

  • @Alantgv But it's a record that: 1) you don't own and 2) a record that's probably worth a penny. Shut the hell up.

  • @FlyBird

You shut the hell up Vinyl hater... Vinyl is the best music format. Best sound, best cover art. What did i say to make you upset?

  • Comment removed

  • You are a really Stupid, The Vinyls sounds Better, Why you destroy the vinyls??

    You are a really Sick!!

  • NO!!! What are you doing ! It's melting!! DX

  • ummm people what if the record is scrached beyond playablity? if he is destroying a good condition record, thats awful. but if its a record with shit quality sound (tons of scraches etc) than whats so wrong with it?

  • @Alantgv This is a good point. Though some part of me still feels that this video is kind of like watching a car crash, only without the loss of human life.

  • @Alantgv

What if it's a shit album? Probabbly is since most people don't seem to buy records for the purpose of listening to it, hahahahaha.

  • @BryanEKS89

If its a shit album that you hate then making it into a bowl is most likley a good thing... I wasnt saying that if its a crap album that its wrong to destroy it. And I dont think anyone would buy a record and never listen to it... that would be stupid.

  • @Alantgv i agree ,

  • FUCKING STUPID! DESTROYED GOOD VINYL TO MAKE SOME WHITE TRASH ASH-TRAY.

  • if its a scratched record, damaged to the point where it doesn't play anymore or just a really crap record which know one would listen to...why not? i mess around with them myself to create art ( not bowls )...if you're that big on saving them go to every op shop out there and save them instead of criticizing people for there way or recycling i have over 500 records that i got from an op shop for free because they had to many..or even hard rubbish

  • is this a sick joke?

  • Poor record...poor, poor record...

  • turns out precious blood lp is worth a lot. how do i make it regular again?

  • @gsboss you dont because the person who made this video is an asshole

  • I was seaching how to make my on records, not how to recicle them, and was bought here by "related videos". Its sad to see this, even if the specific record was trash. Remmembers me how the dictatorship here in Brazil destroyed many classics, which happened to be "politically incorrect". It makes me imagine, back at the 70s, an enormous stack of records been crushed and than burned. Please, what is the name of this song?

  • but shit on vinyl or on cd will be shit forever!

They don't destroy pink floyd LP, but some bad music, just like Yvette Horner!

  • why somebody wants to do this???

  • I love that song playing in the video!!! What is that name of it?

  • @str84ever First bowl looks like some sort of Atlantic Records comp from the late60s/early70s judging by the album art style. Some of those comps can be valuable simply for their rarity-if in good condition-and for potentially hard-to-find tracks by now-obscure bands. Can't tell without knowing the tracklisting. The real crime here is the destruction of the 2nd album, Tanz Der Lemminge, one of the early albums put out by Krautrock legends Amon Düül II. Prob original press, which I'd kill to own.

  • lol s-t-u-p-i-d promotincrapdot com video!!! shame on You

  • ur ruining the label by putting it in water like that..

  • What the Hell dude, I would have bought that and actually played it, seriously WTF!!!!

  • As a Victrola owner I am honestly slightly disgusted.

  • That Is Just A Waste Of Records :(

  • wtf? is this. all I see is 2 wasted records

  • Que poca vergüenza hay que tener para hacerle eso a un vinilo por dios!!!!

  • Phil Collins No Jacket Required and Vicki Carr Sings Nashville.

    Wild guess.

  • you're destroying a piece of history!!! you should be ashamed !!

  • @andreosterlindh You should be ashamed for giving a shit.

  • @toad773 you should be ashamed for not visualizing that the vinly records have the best sound out of all music playing devices IN THE WORLD

  • @toad773 that doesn't make sense :S

  • @micheals1992 Are you sure?

  • @andreosterlindh Otherwise it would've gone to garbage dump, dude, there are millions of records out there, that aren't worth a cent. No one should do this with a Beatle record, unless it's already heavily damaged.

Thisis however a useless stupid video.

  • What better way to re-use a record that is un-listen-ably scratched?

  • @andreosterlindh

lmfao i just got like fifty 45s at half price books for 5 dollars they are junk

  • Изверг!

  • But what the heck are you doing?? Bah...

  • Sacrilege....

  • como se te ocurre acer eso con essas joyas.

  • covers my eyes

  • ok whats the name of the tune ,sounds like the chili peps?

  • Something tells me that hipsters have something to do with the creation of record bowls......

  • most unnescesary idea ever

who would EVER need a vinyl bowl.

  • Comment removed

  • dumbass

  • a keddle?

  • There's a lot of weird ppl on here - have you thought about channelling your anger into something productive like a martial art or something, as if he'd use a good record to do this. This is obviously something you do to the crap records that your parents have got that are just going to get taken to landfill - admittedly though the oven technique does make them look better!

  • @riggerbear1 Exactly, one of my daughters friends made one for us, and I think it looks really cool. Of course you're not going to use a mint pressing of Abbey Road. I don't know if many people would object to a scratched goodwill copy of a Perry Como record.

  • @sgtpepper1138

    Present and accounted for.

  • Why are there likes on this video?

  • If you're going to buy record, PLAY THEM, OR SELL THEM FORE MORE MONEY THE WAY THEY ARE, now, if you make them into somthing else, YOU'RE A F***IN' IDIOT.

  • Value before bowl=sometimes over 100 bucks. Value as bowls=2.1 cents. Whoever does this, to try to earn a lot of money, is a complete idiot, AND, they can only sell them to suckers, and other idiots.

  • I tried it but is really difficult, I'm trying the oven...

You make it look easy... :)

  • is he bloody bonkers?? what a waste!!!

  • you're fucking lucky that isn't a zeppelin record.

  • It's like 10 times easier if you heat them in the oven and then shape them around a bowl. And they look better

  • who did this is a pedophile, you support murder in the third world. That's a reason you suck man.

  • I died

  • Hope it is a Justin Bieber record XD

  • shut up hipsters...this is cool as shit!

  • @karlsnow08 I agree.

  • Pourquoi faire ça!! Allez-vous faire soigner!! :' (

  • why waste the record , i would only do it if the record was scratched to hell ! besides what is the point anyways?

  • What the hell is wrong with you? I can't watch this!

  • who cried?

  • LOL THOSE BOWLS DO LOOK LIKE SHIT THOUGH...U CAN'T HAVE A BOWL OF CEREAL WITHOUT MILK LEAKING FROM THE BOTTOM

  • ZEPPELIN IS LAME. DID A GOOD THING

  • Thats insulting...

  • NOT ZEPPELIN!!!!!!!! you freaking douche!

  • whats the name of the vinyl you waste?

  • well made video. good instructions but that poor record.

  • To all the douches that lament the loss of a few vinyl LPs. Get over it. There are literally millions of these things laying around scratches, warped, and otherwise un-playable. They are NOT rare or on the endangered list. If people are digging these up in 100 years and trying to play them, they are truly pathetic...

  • IDIOT

  • In 1st grade my teacher had us all bring in a 45 single to make into a turkey.

  • Get yourself an old bucket and a dictionary and learn how to spell kettle. Its physically painful to witness the wanton destruction of historical items like this. In 100 years from now people will be digging up these crap bowls and trying to flatten tyhem out to play them again. This is like burning Shakespeare's first folio to keep warm.

  • If these records are unplayable, truly scratched that can destroy the stylus, this can be a certain type of recycling by art. But, if a record is new or in good condition, the better option is to give it to another vinyl enthousiast or selling it to a used record store! Honestly, I hate this type of DIY bowls with records... it's truly ugly! I far away prefer listen to them, discover any music or pass them to others instead destroy them!

  • Comment removed

  • Listen man, if you don't want your records don't fkn kill them... I'll take em off ur hands ;)

  • Does the lable stay on? and if it does is it easy to read?

  • you cant even eat cereal out of them. the milk would run out the hole

Saludos

  • if you pay attention underneath the crap record sleeve there is the album jimi hendrix band of gypsys the time to check is 1:30

  • stupid video

  • thanks for this video,i never gonne clean/wash my lp,s to get ridd of those dusts.

  • Atlantic Records will be angered. :P Ahh who cares. I say this is a spite video to WMG for their youtube idiocy. If you don't already know, WMG owns Atlantic Records.

I agree if it is a shit album who cares, but if it isn't and this is done to it I shall be so pissed. When I saw the Atlantic label I was thinking, NO not a Led Zeppelin Album.

  • @tjsmith51 ya but if you pay attention underneath the crap record sleeve there is the album jimi hendrix band of gypsys

  • it's turning a shit vinyl into something useful.

it doesn't look so bad if your into that retro stuff.

  • @MsNatakins I say 'shit vinyl' not because all vinyls are shit, i collect the good ones, but if it's a vinyl from a no namer who plays the violin or something, i don't think i'll be listening to that...
