@goku540 while doing a combo press the partner button then an attack button but you need to have a bit of red bar and it will take away some of it but you will be able to extend your combo and be able to do specials a lot easier than in normal mode

You must have a red gauge (taken Damage) and DURING a combo just hit two attack buttons together

It's 2 bars. Also you have advanced guard which allows you to block most combos. This thing also requires 5 bars. I'm pretty you'll have enough bars to counter this.

I've been playing it in the arcade for a while now. The game has crazy combos but I think its well balanced. Its all about whether or not you want to sacrifice super bars for mega crushes or saving it for baroque combos if you build up a lot of red life meter. Plus these combos are not easy to pull off. they require mad timing. (especially the dashing low medium after the shin shoriyuken) All around I like it better than MVC2, where MSP own all other characters.

Yeah it is pretty well balanced and looks real fun. I mean MVC2 is great but it wasn't very fun cause there was too much infinite abuse and such things. This looks like it's a real blast to play plus the 3 button thing isnt that baad (The DS bleach fighters had the same setting and they had crazy combos too) I'm dying for this game to come out alreayd :( I HATE waiting D:
