  • America, home of the Christian Taliban.

  • I really do think there's a correlation between atheism and intelligence. Atheists tend to put more stock in evidence, and rather than cling to notions on the basis of faith, atheists are willing to change their minds and look at things in new ways. They are more intellectually rigorous and flexible than most religious people, and this shows in intelligence.

  • Sounds to me like it's time for these people to move to a real city in an educated State instead of continuing to live in the backwoods.

  • This is a symptom of a sick society. Total discrimination.

  • My bestfriend of 12 years is no longer my friend anymore because her and her parents found out I was Atheist. They are Christian. They called my mom and told her that I was going to burn in hell.

  • why are theists so threatened by atheists? its quite simple really. people have always feared what they dont understand, in this case due to a "divine principle" they don't want to understand. the message atheists bring is so damaging to the core of christian beliefs, and they have all the evidence to back it up. In a christian majority state, atheism is therefore public enemy number 1, it is dangerous with its message, and armed to the teeth with its evidence, christians lock your doors.

  • @okely231

actually most Christians understand that Atheists are simply wrong and have no real power to convince those with faith on anything.

Islam is the actual enemy of Christianity and Atheism.

  • Dawkins and Maher said approximately 14% in America are atheists.

  • Really? Atheists are between 1 and 3%? That's a VERY low figure.

  • Oh really? Well when muslim extremists become the public face of Islam then that gives rise to a lot of discontent with muslims. Are you now going to say that muslims are to blame for the muslim image being bad? Can I say that muslims shouldn't be trusted because they caused 9/11 and they'll try to do it again? No and I don't want to, because it's intollerant, but you do it with Atheism and all of a sudden it's ok. Gee, I wonder why?

  • @AntiMatterWave

    read the damn Koran, seriously.

Islam is THE religion of intolerance.

Those who claim to be tolerant Muslims are either lying or they are REJECTING everything that Islam is, while claiming to be Muslims.

Middle Eastern terrorist groups are the real Muslims of the Koran, anyone who considers themselves to be under the banner of Islam is an enemy of freedom.

  • @ptbwf I'm not saying it doesn't happen, I'm just saying that it's not all of them, but it's besides the point. Another example would be "Can I say that women bring the 'stay in the kitchen' jokes on themselves because some of them cook?"

  • I'm pretty sure atheism in america isn't between 1 and 3%.

  • Pretty sad that people who fight for separation of church and state get such a bad image. That amendment is there to stop more populated religions from bullying smaller ones (or those w/o any). Seems like too many people think that removing mandated prayer from school removes the child/teachers right to pray. They can do it, but government employees can't take sides or make it mandatory for everyone which only isolates and bullies others into conformity.

  • If atheists are serious in their desire for a better world, then rather than becoming an isolationist movement, Atheists should connect to others who are also marginalized. The disenfranchised must work together if true democracy is ever to be attained.

  • america is scary man. atheists are seen as the evil ones? try some critical thinking guys, and re-read your bibles properly, then tell me you believe it all! you are wasting your lives. atheists merely accept things as they are rather than trying to explain the so far unexplainable through nonsense stories. look at europe! we are getting there. atheism is growing.

  • @sids500 Atheism - an example that "when you stand for nothing, you fall for anything."

Atheism=trying to prove everyone elses beliefs wrong by bullying them.

BTW Islam is spreading faster in Europe than Atheism.

  • @zachr121 You need to look up the word atheism. It's merely the opposite of theism. It has no ideology or purpose. It is certainly nothing to do with bullying. You may be right about Islam, sad though that is. At least Islam is honest in it's purpose of trying to take over the world and instigate sharia law. Christianity is deceitful and cunning, hiding behind lies and superstition.

  • @sids500 Atheisms definition is just as you say, but generally atheists will turn to scientists just to accuse religion of being superstitious, stupid, and bigoted, therefore justifying their descision.

  • @zachr121 Yes, that's right. In a debate it would make sense to use identifiable and corroborated evidence to make a point. That's debate for you. But I do disagree about the "stupid" bit. Atheism does nothing to make religious people look stupid, it is merely another point of view. Unfortunately, most religions do take this stance, and feel it is their "right" to be offended by opposing opinions. There is far too much of this. It would be much nicer if everyone just accepted the differences.

  • @sids500 Thank you, that's what I want, I just want Atheists and Christians leave each other alone.

My main concern is that Science has been biased towards atheism, and is then claimed incompatible with God, when the beliefs should thrive together, and discover new things. Everyone should benefit from God's creation and not be stuck upon such pointless arguments which cannot be solved on either side with logic.

  • @zachr121 I accept the differences, but believe in the right to disagree, and voice my opinion, in the same way as christians do. I think there is more focus on atheism now as we have become fed up of governments making huge decisions based on religion, and ignoring the faithless atheists. That's probably what annoys believers, and what makes atheists more outspoken now than ever before. For example, the pope is OK to ban condoms, merely because of his religion, condemning millions to death.

  • @sids500 I never said that you cannot disagree, but I do believe that we should stop verbally abusing each other. Everyone has faith, if you don't, you don't believe in science ot religion. The Catholic church is extremely messed up, it changes its beliefs constantly so it can't be taken seriously. When you're talking to Christians, don't bring up the Pope, he's just a figure head of the Catholic Church.

  • @zachr121

see, now YOU are verbally abusing Catholics.

  • @ptbwf I was stating an opinion about a related topic, NOT making fun or insulting the other person.

  • @zachr121 Excuse me, but, what the fuck are you smoking? And where can I get some?

Science isn't biased towards atheism; it is "biased" towards "Facts" and "Evidence" through things like, "Scientific Testing".

Go back to smoking whateverthefuck you were smoking.

Roll a joint with the Koran! Get stoned!

  • @sids500

Christianity isn't deceitful, because if Christianity takes over the world it is VOLUNTARY on the part of the people CHOOSING Christianity over any other religion or faith.

Islam is destroying Atheism, and yet you want to continue to attack Christianity, that is sad.

  • @ptbwf I don't "attack" christianity, i just don't feel the need to follow a made-up story just because there are gaps in my knowledge of the world, or indeed purely for comfort in the after-life. I think all religions are bogus, unprovable (although mormonism has some provable lies in it), controlling, and clearly nonsense. If you followed the whole bible you would hate gays and atheists, and you would condone slavery, rape, murder amongst others. You obviously cherry-pick the bits you like!

  • religiots across the world desperately need to develop an ability to think for themeselves

  • It's really an extraordinarily simple question - 'god' is either silent, intangible, invisible, has displayed truly staggering incompetence and given absolutely no hint whatsoever of it's existence, or it doesn't exist. It can't be proven either way, but which of these options is more likely?

  • The word "atheist" is not an adjective.

  • wtf militant athiesism???!!?!

  • @master0675 I know right? I guess that means that if we try to demand our basic rights, or to--god forbid--change the social sphere in any meaningful way so that Christian beliefs aren't privileged in public and secular institutions such as the school system, then we are contributing to society's negative image of us and have therefore provoked all of the discrimination and hatred, so thus can we only complacently accept the deserved prejudice levied against us. Yeah, I think it's bullshit too

  • I hate the hypocrisy of these phony Christians. I am a christian and I can not stand how these people treat other people. Christianity does not teach people to hate.It teaches people to love others and live in peace, as well as many other religions. It's people in these small backward towns that teach their children to hate others for no sharing the same faith. The bible teaches to love one another regardless. The "christian" people in this community should be ashamed of themselves.

  • Atheism should be shunned, I don't see what the problem is. These parents have showed that they completely hate their children. If they want to choose to deny God and choose eternity apart from Him, that's their choice, don't teach your children to.

  • @1776iscoming How do you teach a non-belief? Thats like shunning for teaching a non-belief in Santa.

  • @1776iscoming Teaching your child to think that evolution is wrong and some faggot named jesus made world is child abuse,if you teach your children religion, you are very bad parent.

  • @deividas56

Like I said, if you and your "partner" or whatever want to go visit your ancestors down at the zoo and join in flinging poop at each other and if you want to ignore reality and pretend like God doesn't exist, that's fine. Just don't corrupt our youth.

  • @1776iscoming Corrupt your youth? Say again, its makes me laugh. We are teaching your youth truth and reality,we are saving them from speaking like idiots and saying "Praise the Holy god and spend Eternal time in HOOO-LY HEA-VENS!!!!!!! get the ETER-NAL SAL-VA-TION!"

Pretend like god exists? nope.avi,If thats the case can you prove that god exists, you cruel child abuser?

Flinging poop? Oh,i for a fact know that christians are involved in sick shit like that.

    Christianity caused wars.

  • @deividas56

I don't have to proved that God exists, we both know He already does, that's not in question. The real question is why atheists feel the need to pretend like he doesn't. It's all about pride, having to give up your life and will to God, having to face God's moral standard, and the fact that there will be a judgment for those who choose to reject God's free gift of salvation.

  • @1776iscoming "I dont have to prove that god exists" EXCUSE.

Christian motto:You got questions,we got excuses.

I will keep mocking god until someone proves that he exists.

"We both know he already does, the question is why atheists pretend that he doesnt"

You know why we dont believe in god? BECAUSE NO-ONE CAN PROVE HIM,CHRISTFAGS ALWAYS USE EXCUSES,NOT PROOF. Thank the asteroids for my blood iron so i could breath.

  • @deividas56 It makes no sense to insult homosexuals when you're in an argument with a Christian. "CHRISTFAGS", really? That same religion which is used to demonize atheists is also used to demonize homosexuals,so where do you find the justification for participating in that culture of homophobia and demonization? How do you rationalize your own demands for equality when you refuse it to others? "Fag" is not a harmless term, but part of a power structure which ostracizes and devalues homosexuals

  • @eyeofthesquirrel I'm a Christian and I find that you are more bigoted against Christians than supposedly we are to homosexuals, the Bible just says that being gay is wrong, it doesn't mean they're going to Hell, it just means they are sinning and a church can't wed the two together. Atheists will go to Hell if they have never believed in Christ, but if even for a moment they believed in Christ they go to Heaven. I don't understand why Christianity should be demonized.

  • @zachr121 The bible has much more idiotic statements, don't forget it has been rewritten and translated many times by many people, including religious radicals. It has become more of an issue of denying people their rights than spreading "a good message". Religion has nothing to say about the definition of a wedding either. The whole "even for a moment believed in ..." doesn't make any sense, you can trick any child into "believing" in some random fantasy, like jesus.

  • @avdmeers The Bible has been translated, not revised, at least not in KJB. It's not about taking away rights in any way, because everyone has done something wrong. When I say even for a moment, I mean if the person truly believes. I never asked you to convert. Yet you seem arrogant to dismiss all religion as a fantasy. Most Atheists practically worship scientists, but they don't realize that almost all the important figures were Christians.

  • @zachr121 With translation comes revision, either correcting or introducing mistakes. Furthermore, you jump to the "ad hominem" fallacy rather quickly. Whenever something can't be proven and has very little evidence backing it up it is fantasy. Furthermore, stating that atheists worship scientists is completely preposterous, atheists don't worship, they think with objectivity. And while we're at it, we can debate the religion of your "important figures". I'd like you to name some.

  • @deividas56

Why do you have to call Christians, 'Christfags'?

Isn't that against many of the so called morals that you supposedly automatically have from birth as an Atheist?

  • @1776iscoming If you can't prove it, then you don't "know". "we both know he already does, that's not in question" THE HELL IT AIN'T! That's like me saying that we both know you're a child raping, irrational cunt, that's not in question...on second thought, that might not be the best example because that might actually be true.

Your beliefs are all about pride. You literally think that humans are the center of the universe and that we will live forever in paradise. LOL @ you.

  • @1776iscoming "I don't have to proved that God exists, we both know He already does, that's not in question" lol. You serious? Have you read any posts on here at all? do you understand what they are saying? Santa, Fairies, Unicorns, Ghosts? You believe in any of those? If not, why not? That's right, because they are silly and there is no evidence!

  • @sids500

People believe in Santa because St. Nick was a real person.

People believe in ghosts because most everyone believes in spirits, ghosts are spirits in physical form.

Fairies and Unicorns are an example of a creative imagination from a 6 year old.

  • @ptbwf You make my point very clearly for me.

You are prepared to follow a religion with zero evidence, yet you mock those who believe in Unicorns and other such nonsense, as they are believing in something with zero evidence. Do you see the contradiction there?

  • @1776iscoming They are just trying to save their kids from a big waste of time in their lives---------> believing in god

  • @Twilightcrazyteen

No, they are pushing their own miserable lives and world view on their children.

  • @1776iscoming Its not miserable, these people are actually happier without religion not having to worry about a bearded man in the sky deciding their fate. Its just stupid. The bible is just a fairytale

  • 1:45 I would say, "Are you evil?"

  • They're lucky they weren't burned alive. Religious fail.

  • or it might have been overall non religious, including atheists and agnostics.

  • I think they got the percentages about how many americans are atheists wrong, In 1999 8% of americans were noted as atheists, and as of 2005, 13% of americans were put on record as atheists.

  • meh it's America

  • @MultiSnoww oops more specifically USA

  • I'm an atheist and I think gays still have us beat in being hated.

  • This makes me happy that I live in New York and not the South.

  • stand up atheist

  • A Christian love.

  • Poor poor poor atheists, i did idid see a cweationist! ....sigh!

  • Think about it. The IQ of first world nations' people generally increases by 6 points in 20 years. There are more and more atheists as time passes. Connection? I think so.

  • @omgyoubaby In countries with average high IQs the number of atheists is higher.

  • @omgyoubaby I dont have a problem with anybody in the world but what you said is not correct. The percentage of illegal immigrants in America is rising, the percentage of murderers who are women are rising. The IQ of America is rising because of a single group of people. Its the education in which we learn from. And if you think the education system is bad well I dont know what to say about that

  • @omgyoubaby correlation? yes, as you said. but because it's only a correlation, it leaves open other possible explanations. In other words, there could be other reasons as to why the IQ of 1st world nations increase.

  • @omgyoubaby

actually, as time goes on there will be much less Atheists.

If nothing else, Islam will make sure of that(because Atheists are too busy worrying about their brothers and sisters who believe in Christ, so Islam will not only destroy Christianity, but secularist society as well).

If not, they will simply have too few children to survive.

  • @omgyoubaby Glad we are both part of the winning team!

  • Christians in the USA are turning into the same kind of extremists as in the middle east.

  • This is B.S.

  • Yeah.... What good Christians eh?

  • Estimated at between 1% and 3%? When the hell did they make this estimation? During World War two? Try 10% to 20%, and climbing rapidly.

  • @LightningNC I agree, I think it's closer to 25%. Most of my friends and ALL of my close friends are atheist. I tell everybody I'm atheist. It gives others the courage to announce their atheism.

  • @Einsteinian99 100% of my frineds are atheists. I am lucky to live not in a theocracy. I cannot stand religious idiots.

  • @DoomNoMore Good for you and yes the zealots are tiresome.

  • Atheism will become the majority... it just takes time

  • "Love thy neighbor" means "Love thy fellow Christian". For everyone else, the lovely rules of the Old Testament applies. DEATH! DEATH! EXILE! DEATH! DEATH TO ALL OF THE TOWN, LIVESTOCK, AND BURN THE TOWN SO NOTHING CAN EVER LIVE IN IT!

  • @TuucciZ no it doesnt

  • @sesrunner08 Thanks for biting on my trolly bait.

So, if Jesus truly meant Christians should love everyone and that this is second-most important commandment, why are many Christians full of xenophobia and pure hate towards anyone non-Christian? Is this the message religion gets across even when trying?

  • @TuucciZ it is they way they are raised and taught. I was always taught to love thy neighbor and tolerate people who have different religious views, political, etc. I mainly believe that it is because of extremists who take the message of the bible and turn it completely upside down mainly for there own game.

  • you should believe in god maybe he will help you with your weight and you bummed knee lol!!!

  • LOL militant atheism? Asking for 'In God We Trust' to be removed from money is militant atheism?

  • Okay, so if Christians are allowed to assume that all atheists are moral-less godless heathens because a few high-profile examples tried to remove "in God we trust" from a few government entities, then I assume it's totally okay for me to assume that every Christian is an abortion-clinic-bombing extremist, right? Or that all Christians are unintelligent, unthinking, creationist ignoramuses?

Somehow, I get the feeling they wouldn't appreciate that very much.

  • Imagine this scenario: One guy (this isn't anyone person in general, so don't think I'm making a statement about one politician) has cheated on his wife, done coke in college, accidently killed someone in a car but was a Christan "hoping for forgiveness" and the other guy has a clean record, and has the best morality, is a war hero..but is a staunch atheist......who has a better chance of being elected President? It's sickening.

  • Mississippi is the most ignorant and poorest state in the union. All you can do is leave these brainwashed morons to their miserable backward lives. I'm surprised only 1-2 % of Americans are atheists. In most western European countries the eprcent of atheists and deists is from a low of 25% in Italy and Spain to a high of 60% in France and Germany. It is almost 30% in Canada. Why is the USA so backward?

  • mississippi is a fucked up state.

  • Stupid theist propagandas makes this country crazy...

  • Comment removed

  • Theist preach love? No they preach hate they mostly talk about what they hate Gays,Atheist music etc. Let theist destroy themselves.

  • I hate that theists are so upset with atheists wanting "in god we trust" and "under god" taken out of the pledge and off of money. I'm willing to bet that the majority don't even know when those were added in.

  • They use the same excuses to discriminate against atheists as they do against racial minorities. As soon as someone speaks out about their rights they are called militants and accused of bringing it all upon themselves.

  • I was fired from my job a month after telling my christian boss that I was an atheist and felt uncomfortable praying before we all ate lunch in her at-home office (& coworkers were all theists). She fired me 2 wks later after the first mistake I had made in my 8mo's there. Prior to speaking out, I just pretended I was praying, but it ate at me. I felt like I needed to speak out and did so politely. Of course, after it happened, fighting it was futile and I was fucked out my unemployment over it.

  • oh, and she fired me on Thanksgiving day over the phone, when I wasn't even there. Classy, huh?

  • man im never going to see the birth of my child, cuz the mother of my child, can't stand that im an atheist, and is treathing to keep him away from me. is went to live back on the streets, i thought it was no big deal saying im an atheist, now i know..

  • their statistic was wrong, we make up about 15%, i wonder why the 12% error

  • This video looks kinda old, like 03...just a guess

  • Be militant and proud. Whats the towns name? Save your kids from religion. Jesus fascists are pure evil. Hitler was more honest compared to sutch so called Christians who act in contrast of the filosofie of their hero. Real love from Belgium guys.

  • Well I laugh when people tell me I'm going to hell because I'm an Atheist; Atheists don't believe in hell, that makes it an empty threat idiots!

I do feel for these people though, but what shocks the most is the fellow minorities that discriminate against us Atheists; Jews and Muslims being the most shocking and even Black Christians shock me a little, I mean each one has/is been discriminated against (Both Larger/smaller scales) for various reasons themselves. So much for a little empathy huh?

  • If you want to get a good person to hate someone they don't know or do something terrible brainwash them into thinking that an invisible, magic creator wants them to. There will never be peace in the world until religion dies, if it doesn't kill us first.

  • ripticdu:

Well said, religion like this only breeds hate, despite what they may claim about love etc.

  • What´s next? An atheist hollocaust? I can´t believe it...

  • To the god pushers, a person can be a lying, gossipping, cunning, backstabbing, hypocrite, and still be accepted in society, But if he/she is an atheist, then he is thought of as evil and to be shunned. I see this all the time. Fuck that insane shit.

  • @PaineLover My mom thinks that I am so mean and ignorant and an asshole.

  • @PaineLover It's ignorance in its purest form.

  • @Smetch - almost as stupid as religion :)

  • depends what you mean by religion

  • @Smetch - You know...fantasy, dogma, fairy tales about Jesus and Adam and Eve being taken as literal truth..that kinda thing.

  • @Smetch - You can be whatever religion you want, I'm not telling you what to be. That's your choice. Jesus however was only human, and his legacy is shrouded in myth. His myth is exactly the same as Horus'. The Bible is not proof of anything, as it was created by ancient men and is thus completely unreliable.

  • Jesus Christ says the Bible is literally true.

Is that possible as he was dead before bible was written ? And where is that written ?

  • @Smetch So I should believe in John then?

  • @Smetch You are stupid.

  • Lol, this will change to the point of ppl doing this to theists

  • @BenMuseShaman: I think Atheists are better than that. Revenge is never the answer. Educate!

  • I never said it would be because of revenge. there will probly be no real good reason when it happens

  • mississippi? hehehe... i think i might move there >;]

  • Most of my friends are Christian. Some are really into their religion. And none of them are fundamentalist douchebags.

    Maybe there is hope.

  • WTF is wrong with ppl? This nation was founded on the belief that ppl should be able to believe what they want without the threat of persecution. That doesn't just include religion but the lack of religion as well.If this was happening to ANY other minority ppl would not stand for it! These "christians" who are treating atheists this way are only proving our point, that religion does more harm than good and condones intolerance.

  • I don't like when people say that we hate god, when there is no god to hate. Then they hate us. I'm tired of it. I really am. When I was five, I lost three school friends when I told them that I didn't think that there was a god. I doubt that I will ever think that there is.

  • We don't hate what is not there

  • I used to be an Atheist and I too was afraid to let anyone know. I became Muslim in 2001 and I have no problems with discrimination now.

  • It is easier to come out as agnostic than atheist. Atheist screams the notion of "god hater". Also mississippi is a backwater.

  • "When it was revealed that they were atheists."

More like: "When it was revealed that they had functioning brains that they thought for themselves with on a regular basis."

  • I am an open atheist living in Canada. I regurarly poke fun at the religious portion of my associates, and they don't mind. If American religious lunatics are that discriminating towards atheists, then they should come and visit Canada, where atheists will make fun and hopefully ridicule them daily without mercy.

  • I come from the UK and I only know one Christian, and she's one of the she most fucked up people I know.

  • fuck me what am i watching? Is this the dark ages? Why are you in the closet Disfajig grow some balls. for fuck sake I hate the fact that critical thinking people with minds of their own have to hide what they think. due partly because people are afraid of coming out! there needs to a ground swell so broad and so deep that it can not be ignored. All atheists should join a local group make it vocal and political. let those who walk in the corridors of power we mean business

  • wow...a news paper article devoted to a small irrelevent family as atheists?!

Religious crimes against humanity in action right there haha...How does religion convince good people to do such evil and malicious things? what a mind fuck religion is haha, im glad im not caught up in that mental stupidity, i may not of grown up to be as intelligent as i am and probubly would of beleived that all black people were going to hell...If your religious...Get help...seriously, it is bad for you

  • Lol it would suck to live in America been a Atheist, Australia if probably one of the best countries to live in been a Atheist most people i know are Atheist and Religious people are shy about their beliefs. This is just my personal experience though.

  • wow.... i dont wach much of the news but there rare occasions i do wach its rediculous, the storys they have are like they try yo make it look equel but its in favor of the majority..

  • Religion is the Number 1 source of hate and intolerance. Why is this a surprise to anyone?

  • Atheists are more like 15% in America. Lets keep growing and overcome this shit!

  • Actually mate it's about 20% now. Here in Australia we have a lot of Atheists.

  • Trust me, I cannot tell you how many of my friends at my high school, including myself, are closet atheists. It's a lot more than most would expect.

  • Most of us started as a closet atheist because we live in an ignorant, superstitious country. But eventually you get tired of the sht in your face all the time. How, in an age of science and reason, in a time when we understand the chemical makeup of the universe and of living creatures, is it that people still believe in an invisible supernatural being that used magic to make it all appear from nothing? This shit has been pounded in the heads of children for thousands of years.

  • @ripticdu Christians are 75 % and they say they're being oppressed.

  • What wasn't pointed out is that atheists aren't all "militants". Most of us are ok with the under god thing or whatever. Also, atheists i find much more tolerant than other rligions. maybe if the media didn't skew the image of atheists to the radicals we would be okay

  • I am so Lucky I live in a Big City were we are a hell of a lot safer, more common and accepted. Best thing ALL Atheist should do is come out. I tell Theists all the time that they have friends, family even Church member that are Atheists. Where is Christian hospitality for that family?

  • yeah right, like im gonna take shit from people who think harry potter, a fictional character from a fucking book, is evil.

  • SPEAK OUT!! It is time for religion to fall to reason.

  • What do you expect? It is Mississippi. I am surprised they even have books in that state. Their state sport is chewing Tobacco and sleeping with cousins.

  • i got all this discrimination from theists online, always telling me ''you goin to hell'' ''no morals'' ''you must be a really sad person''

  • so much for love your neibour and crap like that...they cant even fallow their own religion

  • I'm glad you pointed that paradox. It's really sad how these discriminating Christians try to advocate morals but, unfortunately, prove themselves to be opposites to different people.

  • As a practicing Christian, I must say that I hate FOX news with a passion. They act as if they represent us to snag votes while simultaneously spreading hatred. Please do not let these actors be our representation. It's so fake that it ends up looking corny and retarded, like wrestling. Just know that this is not what we practice. Ignorance is prevalent in everything. Basically, what I am trying to say is, when you are discriminated against, try to not see us all in this way.

  • Luckily I live in Britain, where people are applauded for rational thinking. We have none of this God stuff on our money or anything. We do have Darwin though.

  • FUCK YOUR FAKE JEW GOD!!!!!!

  • It could be that in America you see the worst side of atheism ( I'm also a atheist).

I personally think it's not that good to be too extreme in your believes and go out on the streets with signs or something. If some atheist do that I think that's not very wise of them, though I can understand them because that also happens with theists.

It's really offending if theists discriminate atheists, because we don't (most of us) attack them in any kind. I think the pledge should be banned.

  • Militant atheism? It were those religious nutjobs who pushed for the ''in god we trust'' inscription on the US dollar and for the ''under god'' line in the pledge of allegiance.

  • I wouldn't have left. That's like giving up.

  • That may seem like giving up, but you should put the facts that they are parents into perspective. The future of their children are at stake, and no parents should willingly endanger the future of their own children.

  • Fair point. I just don't have the sort of emotional attachment of having children (I better not at 17 :P)

  • Fucking religitards wanna jump up on their soapbox and yell about jesus' compassion and god's forgiving nature, yet they can't stop being dicks for more than a few hours on sunday. What a joke.

  • Whatever happened to the "land of the free". I sincerely hope that this is one US cultural influence that stays where it belongs, in the USA.

  • I'm an atheist and I think it's funny when people say I'm going to hell. Ooooh wow your condeming me to your made up fire jail.

  • this proves christians live in there own privete little bubbles and get angry when they feel threaten. christian hate anyone who are not christians.

  • In god we trust was not origanaly on the doller bill till 1957 and in the original peledge of aligence there was no one nation under god!

  • "To use the term blind faith, is to use an adjective needlessly."

  • It's America, what do you expect?

  • I've noticed that those who throw the most crap at Christians.. are other Christians! Not to mention all the other thesitic groups.

All Atheists want, when they want anything, is for people to leave their religion where it belongs. At home and in their churches.

But, they don't. They pass laws, lawsuits, use bigotry and worse.. they cause otherwise rational atheists to foam at the mouth and get in their faces so they can go "See? Atheists hate us!"

  • To all the Atheist families living it rough in the "bible belt", I wish you luck.

  • nothing like that old time christian love..
