For some reason I was just thinking about Zooey Deschannel singing this song.... I didn't know she actually does it.... It's one of my favorite Joni Mitchell songs
Just Discovered this. Zooey is amazing. I love me some joni but. I gotta say Tori Amos is my goddess and Well Zooey is to but I gotta say Zooey covers Joni Better then Tori does its almost surprising!
I love me some Joni Mitchell and some She and Him. She has a beautiful voice and this is a beautiful song BUT it's a terrible arrangement. It draaaags in the beginning and then it's played way too fast by the middle but the ending was sublime. I'm sure with some finess it would sound like a gem.

Exactly! But I did get to meet her and chill with them for a while, so it's a fair trade off. I'll get videos and pictures next time! What I hate apparently it was the tour manager's decision... so shouldn't it be for all the shows? I knew it wouldn't be, that's why I was pissed. Whatev.
There were also no cameras allowed at Columbus. I had one in my pocket, but didn't want to get kicked out before the show was over. Guy in front of me got the shoulder tap just for holding up his cell phone once. So not even a still shot despite being right next to the path to the stage and Zooey being no more than 5 feet away several times.
Yeah, I was up against the stage, and the stage went up about to my waist. So really, the only shots I could have gotten would have been up Zooey's skirt cause I was right in front of her mic.. haha

She was so nervous when they did this song in Toronto cause they'd only rehearsed it a few times.. but we all went crazy! :D
