Does anyone have word on when the 7th Gen will be out? I like the features on the 4th Gen Nano (shake shuffle / Genius / horizontal cover flow), and I can only imagine they'll be added to the 7th Gen Classic. I'll hold out for a year or so :P

the shake it shuffle is so not worth it

i have the 4th gen nano and i absolutely hate the shake shuffle its super sensitive. i would wait to get a classic for the simple reason of wanting a shake shuffle

Price doesn't factor in? I couldn't decide between the 2 either but I've decided the price to capacity ratio is better for the classic, and since I'll be watching video I don't like the idea of wiping down the screen all the time. I don't really think touch is necessary at this point.

in my opinion the classic is better because you get more memory for the price. its smaller and it will probably last you a long time,battery life is better as well

there is no sound quality issues with the ipod classic i am rather happy with the sound infect ,with a good pair of ear phone would further enhance the sound,what would i rate it ? well i will rate it 5 star as what you have given me for my video.
