When Turkey joins the EU,the Lisbon treaty will mean that voting is based on population size. This will give Turkey about 20 times the voting power of Ireland.
Turkey does not have a social security system.
Google Open Europe and No 2 Lisbon 2.

Funnily enough I was at a Socialist Party meeting last week and they were all dressed like that too.
I guess that's what happens when you campaign for both workers rights and for the companys that employ them to get out of the country!
