I know this is a little off-topic, but I love Minnesota accents. I have an aunt and uncle who live in Thief River Falls. Me being from Arizona, I'm not exactly used to those sirens, but they kind of freaked me out when I was there for the summer.
Those tornado sirens aren't exactly a reliable warning device. Those Weatheradio receivers, and not to mention the EAS on AM/FM radio and TV are much more dependable than what are really air raid sirens reminiscent of the Cold War. It is known that people have reported being unable to hear them in their homes.
Does Elbow Lake MN have more than two 2T22s and is the entire system made up of 2T22s there are a couple of videos from Tornado Warnings in my city of Minneapolis MN my city has a all Thunderbolt 1000T system
We had an EF4 tornado around my area of Toledo, Ohio on June 5th 2010. The tornado hit at night time around 11:30ish and then acouple hours later another huge storm came and the sirens went off again. Milburry, Ohio looks like a war zone. It's very sad. I get so scared everytime we have a tornado warning and the sirens go off now. Hugs from Toledo, Ohio!!!
Dude, at first I thought this was a f*****g musical! The sirens sounded real musical at the beginning of the video! And yes, it's really weird that the sky is clear on one side and dark on the other!

Why are they using an attack signal for a tornado?
JPa311979 1 year ago
@JPa311979 Different counties use different signals for different things, its very seldom but some counties even use fast wail for tornado warnings .
